Peter sighed softly. He knew that Eric knew something for certain. He figured that Eric could put two and two together and realize that it was Ace and him that killed Gene and Paul. The worse his mental health got the more distant he felt from everyone else.
Peter saw his life as his little bubble with Ace in it. The only person his secret was safe with. At that point, Peter didn't know how long he would be before he would have to admit to what he and Ace did.
By the time Ace and Peter were just barely at the end of the rope, they decided to leave and go back home. Vinnie didn't know what to think anymore. All he did was simply stare off into space, overthinking everything.
Ace and Peter knew everything, and they wouldn't tell anyone. It was nothing more than just a secret to them. They did feel guilty but they wouldn't admit to anything, no matter how bad things got.
