Y/N felt like they were insane for agreeing to this. Who in their right mind would go to see someone who could kill them in an instant, and not even on purpose from what it sounded like? What happened to self-preservation, weren't humans supposed to have that in abundance? Everything told them that they really shouldn't be doing this... but they wanted to get some closure.

"Are you ready?" Moon was back in their 'deity' form, as Y/N decided to call it. They towered over the poor mortal, Y/N could easily guess they were more than seven feet tall in this form. The red eyes were quite eerie as well, not to mention the fact that they had four arms... Y/N tried not to stare, mostly so they could hopefully not creep themselves out any more.

"Not really, no, but there's no better time than now. How exactly are we going to get to his realm...?" Y/N had plenty more questions than that, but decided to leave them for Sun. They'd see soon enough what a realm looked like, but the pressing issue was how to get there. Were mortals even able to go in god realms? Would that kill them?

"Well, it's not as simple as when I brought you into my realm. As the one for whom the realm exists, I could enter as I pleased and bring anyone with me. To enter someone else's realm... we have to go through Security. I'm generally trusted to enter Sun's realm whenever, but I will have to explain why you're there, which shouldn't be a problem. Just leave me to handle the talking," Moon said, offering their hand to Y/N. "When you've mentally prepared yourself."

Y/N wasn't sure what the security would be, but they were fairly certain they'd much rather not try to talk to whatever entity guards the realms. They took a deep breath in a attempt to relax, before hesitantly placing their hand in Moon's. Their hand was cold like metal, yet soft like a brand new teddy bear. The deity opened up what appeared to be a portal, and in no time at all, the two of them were standing inside what appeared to be an old diner with a grey and white checkered floor. A jukebox sat in the corner, and there was a stage up front and center.

"Security." Moon's voice echoed through the eerie room. Y/N heard shuffling and jingling of bells, and turned to look at an entity sitting atop a purple and black striped box with red ribbon. It had black eyes with glowing orange pupils, and what appeared to be a doll's face in the form of a mask. Buttons held a striped casing of some sort - was it cloth? Plastic? Metal? Y/N couldn't tell - but it felt like there was something they weren't seeing underneath.

"Lord Moondrop. I see you're bringing a guest; is this a new reaper?" The thing's mouth didn't move, but it tilted it's head. Despite the many bells along it's body, only the one attacked to their head made a sound. The rest of them was completely still.

"No, just a friend. Their name is Y/N, a mortal; they'd been helping Sun and I. We'd like to go see Sun, please." Y/N couldn't tell if Moon and this 'security' person were friendly or just being cordial and professional with each other. They weren't sure if they wanted to know either.

"Very well. As you have unobstructed entry and Sundrop's realm has class E entrance restrictions, you two may enter. However, I expect authorization for any further entries by the mortal," the entity gestured to the door leading outside of the diner.

"Come on." Moon took them out the door.

They were suddenly in the middle of an endless sky, with the door no longer in sight, standing atop fluffy clouds. Y/N instinctually grabbed Moon's arm to hold them up, as if that would help them should they fall. Moon let out a small chuckle, which was far from amusing to the mortal.

"You won't fall unless you step over the edge of the clouds. Even if you did, I'd get you back. You'd never land, so it wouldn't kill you."

Somehow, the idea of never landing was worse.

"You are terrible." Y/N was unamused by their behavior, slowly letting go. God, they hated heights.

"Y/N?" The mortal's attention was caught near immediately by the holy figure of Sun's 'deity' mode. It was, no doubt about it, absolutely terrifying for Y/N to see. The fiery wings reminded them all too much of the unpleasant situation that had cost them their arm...

Nope, nope, nope, they didn't want to think about that. They dropped their focus to the floor, to avoid thinking about it too long.

"Yeah, that's m-" Y/N was rather quickly cut off.

"I'm so sorry! For everything! I know the apology doesn't do anything to fix it but it was a mistake, I never meant to hurt you! If I could take it back I would but I really can't. I wish I could and I wish I didn't burn things when I'm stressed, I just... I can't help it. I'm trying to get better but it wasn't fair to drag you into any of this. It's not even the first time and I - I never learn. That shouldn't mean you get hurt, but it did, and that isn't okay.

"I'd do... I'd do anything to make it up to you, really. I don't want to see anyone hurting, especially not because of me. I don't expect you to forgive me I don't - I don't deserve forgiveness but I need you to know that you didn't do anything wrong, I take full accountability for my terrible choices and for what happened to you. Feel free to speak your mind. I know you probably have a few things to say to me, and I won't get mad at you for saying something I don't want to here."

Y/N was baffled. They'd had some things to say, sure, but they weren't expecting god to grovel and apologize so sorrowfully. It was kind of... depressing, actually. Before this, they'd wanted to tell Sun that he was an idiot and shouldn't have done any of the things he did... but it looked like he already knew that.

"You aren't completely forgiven, but at least you're self aware and apologetic... that means something."
