EARLY THE NEXT MORNING, Aurora woke up and saw a letter and box wrapped in pink wrapping paper, waiting at the end of her bed. She grabbed it quickly and opened it up. Llewelyn moved from the end of the bed, to where Aurora was, and sat in her lap to look at the paper as well.
"Sticky beak," Aurora muttered quietly, as she gave him a pat and began to read the letter.
Aurora read the letter a few more times before putting it down. She didn't like that her father was coming back north, but something inside of her was...excited. Besides, it was her birthday. She didn't need to worry. Not yet anyways.
Putting Llewelyn aside, she leaned forward and grabbed the pink box. Taking the wrapping paper off, she saw a jewellery box. She opened it up and saw a bracelet, a ring and a necklace inside. It was matching diamond set.
