Chapter 220 - I won't regret. (3)

There had been times when Cheng Huan couldn't get up in the past as well and XingXing was experienced in how to feed himself. He opened up the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of milk and a cupcake while stepping on a small stool. He then filled a bowl with hot water and placed the bottle of milk inside of it. Kneeling on the stool, he unwrapped the cupcake and had a spoonful of it. He closed his eyes as he chewed.

It was so tasty!

For the sake of his healthy, Cheng Huan didn't usually allow him to have too much sweets and, as such, XingXing treasured the opportunity of having cakes very much. He has only had a couple of bites when he heard noises coming from the front door. The little buddy turned his head alarmingly, put down the fork and climbed off the stool. When he turned around, he saw Jiang MingYuan walking inside.

Numbed by the alcohol, Jiang MingYuan did not have insomnia from what happened the night before. That being said, having a hangover was not pleasant. He still had a headache when he woke up and his limbs were still a bit numb. Most likely there were still some alcohol remaining in him.

As much as he didn't feel very well, he felt rested and he remembered clearly what happened the night before. He recalled that Cheng Huan had accepted his pursuit. He felt a fire burning in him when he recalled what had been exchanged.

Jiang MingYuan were both excited and worried that Cheng Huan only said what she said last night because he was drunk. As much, he got readily and came downstairs as quickly as possible after he had woken up.

He moved as fast as he could but he became somewhat nervous after he had arrived outside of their front door. He was conscious about how he looked for a change. He straightened out his hair from his reflection in the elevator before he opened up the door and walked inside.

Jiang MingYuan had so much that he wanted to tell Cheng Huan but, after he had walked inside of the apartment, the one he saw wasn't the one who had stirred up a fire in his chest.

But the little kiddo with cream on the corner of his mouth.

The little kiddo gave him a look, called him Daddy before he climbed back up onto the stool and continued working on his cake.

Jiang MingYuan frowned when he saw what XingXing was eating. "Why are you eating that in the morning? Where is Mommy?"

"Mommy is still sleeping and I couldn't wake her." XingXing scooped up another spoonful of cake but, before he could shove it into his mouth, his hand was grabbed.

Jiang MingYuan pulled the spoon out of his son's hand and put it to one side. He pulled a tissue over, wiped his mouth clean, and said, "Daddy will take you to breakfast."

"Oh, okay." XingXing gave his remaining cake a regretful look and nodded.

He enjoyed other food as well.

Jiang MingYuan left with XingXing and even left a note before they took off. When the father and son were finished with their breakfast, they even brought an order back for the one at home. Lo and behold, nobody came out of the master bedroom even after the food had turned cold.

Cheng Huan slept all the way into the afternoon and noticed that the sun had already moved to the west. She stretched while sitting up in bed and checked the time on her cellphone.

Cheng Huan almost rolled off the bed when she saw the display on her screen. She checked a few more times to make sure that she wasn't mistaken before she quickly got out of bed on her bare feet.

She washed up as quickly as possible before she pushed open the door and walked outside.

Both the father and son were sitting in the living room and looked up at the same time when they heard the noise. The look was so intense that Cheng Huan reflexively looked down on how she was dressed. She looked back up only after she made sure that everything was how they were supposed to be and she smiled at the two on the couch.
