46. I got your back

Yu listened to every words that Yuki said about his father in silence with Sam who kept holding on his hand tightly. Sam kept looking at Yu, he's much calmer now, but he still looks tense. And he just stay quiet, real quiet even after Yuki has done with his story for a while.

Turned out, his father was a gangster. Family business. His name, Maruyama, is a powerful mafia family in Japan. Yuki didn't mention it, but Sam believed that they are part of Yakuza.

That day, when Yu's father flew to find Yu and his mother, he did the journey alone by himself, and he had no idea that his enemy had been followed him, and planned to kill him outside the country. Because they knew what would happen if they kill one of the Maruyama inside Japan.

Yu's father found his lover, Yu's mother. She told him everything, the struggle on her life, their son's life, and Yu's father was planning to bring Yu and his mother to Japan to live with him.

Yu's father told Yuki about his plan, he bragged to him that he had found his lover, and the fact that he had a son.

Yuki was willingly to help his uncle, and prepared for everything for his new family back in the Japan.

But a day later, Yu's father came back in corpse, and he never heard about Yu's mother anymore.

Yuki tried to find her, he tracked where Yu's father was while he was there, but he got no clue. He couldn't find her, or her son, not when he has no information about them at all.

Yu's father bragged about his lover and his son so much but he didn't even tell him about their name. And Yuki has never thought that turned out Yu has his father's name.

When Yu arrived at Japan, he has someone who gave him the information, and that's when he knew, that Yu is his cousin. The boy that he was trying so hard to find years ago. He finally found him.

"Yu.." Sam called him quietly.

Yu was spacing out, but when Sam called him, he turned his eyes on Sam, smiled and nodded his head slightly, assuring Sam that he is fine.

Sam smiled back, and he kept caressing on Yu's hand.

Yuki just keep looking at the two. How Yu hide his tears back, definitely trying hard to act strong in front of Sam. And how Sam was so ready to catch Yu whenever Yu might fall into him.

This is the first time that he met these two lovebird together, and he could know how much they love each other.

"So what now?" Yu then asked after a few minutes of silence.

He asked Yuki, but Yuki just staring back at him, and Sam. Then he sighed softly.

"At first, I thought about taking you here. In case if you had a difficult life over there." Yuki said.

"I was." Yu said quietly.

Yuki got silenced, Yu's father didn't really talk about Yu's life, but thinking how he wanted to bring Yu and his mother here in Japan, Yuki could guess that their life was not easy. And Yuki is sure that Yu's life was even harder after his Mother's death.

"I'm sorry, Yusuke." Yuki said. "I'm sorry for not find you sooner."

Yu stared at his hand thats being intertwined with Sam, then he tightening his grip. Sam was staring at their hands too, but when he felt the grip thats getting tighter, he turned his eyes on Yu's wet eyes.

"I.." Yu started to talk quietly but paused for a second to control his tears, "All this time, I always blamed Mom for leaving me alone.." He continued as his tears started to fall.
