43. An accident

"So it was Tommy who called you?" Sam asked after Yu told him the beginning of the story.

Yu nodded his head, "He used Zack's cellphone."

"And you came because you worried about Zack."

Yu nodded his head again.

"What about the other people, you know them?"

Yu shook his head this time. "Just him.." Yu said quietly then looked at Sam, "Honestly I don't even know that his name is Tommy."

Sam chuckled softly. "Well, I knew when I tried to find him that night.."

Yu blinked his eyes in confuse.

"You know, when I tried to find him after what he did to you, and gave him a few good punch.." Sam said then sighed softly, "I shouldn't have done it. He won't do any of those things if I didn't provoke him first."

"Then you should have blamed me for stealing his wallet first." Yu said then he sighed softly and continued, "You were the one who said not to blame each other, Sam. Let's not blame ourselves either."

Sam smiled and nodded his head.

"What about the nightmares?" Sam then asked.

Yu holds his breathe for a second, he doesn't really want to talk about his nightmares actually, but since Sam wanted to talk about it, then he has no choice.

"Just.." Yu muttered softly then smiled faintly, "I had nightmares since long time ago, I almost forget about it since I never really had it again when I'm with you, but it came back."

"When you're with me?" Sam asked the words that sound strangely bright between the dark ones.

Yu chuckled softly, "I said a lot of words Sam, is that the only thing that you heard?"

"Well, that's the only thing that matters, isn't it?" Sam asked back.

Yu raised his eyebrows, then Sam took his hands and hold on it tightly as he kept staring at it for a second, then he smiled softly and turned his eyes on Yu's face.

"You know, since I'm still here with you, I've made your nightmares gone before, so I'm pretty sure that it will work again soon." Sam said.

Yu just smiled softly. Sam really likes to say cringey things like this, but even so those words would always made Yu blushed.

"Thank you, Yu. For telling me. I know that it's not easy.." Sam then said.

Yu smiled then nodded slightly, "Um, well. It's not. But I feel better now, thanks to you."

"Really?" Sam asked.

Yu nodded his head again. "Um."

"If I hug you tightly when you're sleeping, will it help?" Sam then asked.

Yu chuckled softly, "You always do it anyway."

"Should I hug you tighter?"

"And suffocate me till death?"

Sam gasped softly, "Don't say something like that so easily."

Yu laughed softly then Sam pulled him into a hug.

"This much?" He hugged Yu tightly, as tight as he could.

"No.." Yu is still laughing.

"This much?" Sam asked again, loosened his hug a little bit.

Yu is still laughing but then he hugged Sam back, "Um. This much is okay." He said.

"Okay then. I'll remember it." Sam said with a wide smile.
