4. Will you be my ...

"You what?!"

Sam just shrugged both of his shoulder. He kinda expected this kind of reaction from Tian when he told him that he wanted Yusuke to work with him.

"But.. He.." Tian is out of words. He really didn't know what to say or to do with Sam.

"You don't even know who he is! What the hell are you thinking Sam?! You can't just ask a stranger to work with you!" But then Tian said what he want to say.

"You told me that you're tired to keep following me around, I granted your wish. I'll put you on the west branch for next month. Sorry, I want to do it soon but I don't think Yu can work any soon, he still need to rest." Sam explained calmly.

"Why did you make him work with you?" Ray asked. He also curious about Sam's decision.

"Just because.." Sam said lightly.

"Don't give me just because!" Tian shouted loudly and even hit the table in front of them.

Ray patted his back gently so that Tian can calm down. He's being too emotional about the situation.

"Tian.." Sam then called him softly and leaning his body forward to Tian. "Just.. let's just do this. I really just want to keep him by my side. That's the only reason. If you ask me why did I want it, I don't even know it myself.."

Tian and Ray just keep quiet listening at every words that Sam said. He sounded seriously sincere about this.

Sam then leaned back and sighed softly. He turned his head to look at the door where Yusuke sleeps inside.

"I don't know why I helped him either. All I know is just I want to keep him with me." Sam said again.

"Why?" Tian still asked.

Sam rolled his eyes. He feels like he's talking to a wall.

"Just do what I ask. I'm your boss anyway." Sam finally said and leave Tian who still gaping his mouth widely. "I'll stay here until Yu heal.. No. Until he at least can get up. Then I'll leave."

Sam then leave them and get in the room. He wants to stay with Yu.

Yu could hear the conversation Sam had with Tian and Ray outside. He heard everything, including Sam's words about wanting to keep him with him.

And during that conversation happened outside, Yu kept wondering why did Sam insisted so much to keep him with him. He didn't even mention about the debt to Tian and Ray. So is it really because of the debt as Sam said to him?

"Why are you not sleeping?" Sam asked when he found Yu still awake.

"Um.. I'm about to sleep." Yu said softly.

"You need something?" Sam then asked. He took a seat beside Yu's bed.

Yu shook his head slowly. He kept staring at Sam.

"Hm?" Sam asked him softly.

"Why do you want me to stay with you?" Yu asked quietly.

Sam giggled softly. "You heard us talking?"

Yu nodded his head.

"Well just like what you heard, I don't know why. I just want to keep you by my side." Sam said lightly.

Yu blinked his eyes staring at Sam. How could he say something like that so easily.

Wanting someone to stay by his side, it should be something really important thing to do.

"Why me?" Yu then asked quietly.

Sam smiled softly then he stroked Yu's head.

"Sleep, you need to rest so that you can heal faster. Let's get out of this house once you feel better." Sam said stroking Yu's head gently.
