The time was past 11.30.The cold breeze that had been blowing just a moment ago had entirely disappeared.
It was as if the entire forest had become still and the heat gradually increased as the noon arrived.
After putting the equipment back, we began our work earnestly.
Daniel and Chris started collecting rocks that seemed suspicious to them in plastic covers. Mr.C himself had instructed us to take our findings and submit them to him.
Alex stood in the middle, writing something on a sheet of paper, while Liz ran around with a small hammer in her hand, unsure of what to do. Alex noticed this and gave her some instructions.
The self-proclaimed worker girl, Isabel, knelt with a magnifying glass in her hands, focusing on the same spot for some time as if something would pop out at any moment.
As for me, I was still wondering what to do, since I didn't even know that this excursion would affect our grade points. After seeing others doing things as they pleased, I was even more confused.
"Looks like everyone is enthusiastic..."
I turned to look behind as soon as I heard the voice.
"Mr. C..."
He was carrying things like chisels and brushes in his hand.
Everyone who had been engrossed in their work suddenly shifted their gazes to where Mr. C and I were standing.
"What is all this for?"
Isabel came to us, pointing her fingers at Mr. C.
"Oh, it's nothing. I thought that since you guys are doing all the work, maybe I should too... But don't me and just do what you came here to do."
His playful smile was still hanging on his lips as his white hair fluttered even though there was no breeze. It was like he was bending the reality as he pleases to make him look more majestic.
"It's fine. We don't mind, right guys?"
Isabel was trying to gather everyone's approval which everyone agreed and the work commenced.

The time is 11.50.
All the members of my group continued doing what they were doing before and I also began to collect rocks with peculiar shapes and sizes that I find interesting.
Even though this was somewhat of a tedious job, I found it enjoyable at the very least.
"Glenn, are you okay?"
Mr.C casually asked that and sat beside me on his knees. He was holding a small brush and a rock in his hands.
"I'm fine."
"Then that's good. I thought that since you and Chris did fight yesterday, I thought something similar happened today as well."
"I'm telling you nothing happen-", Those words caught on my throat as I suddenly turned to him in wonder.
"Wait, what did you say?"
I stared at him looking completely bewildered.
"You should know what I am talking about since you did get beat up pretty badly yesterday."
A wave of relief washed over me as he spoke those words.
"So what I said was indeed true. After those guys said all that I thought I made this all up in my mind."
