I finally made the time between working two jobs to write, adulting sucks. Dont grow up~

~Trigger Warning mentions of death~

Narrator POV

Yn sneaks onto the ship, Tsu'tey sees her. A few of the soldiers notice her while they are fighting, and pull her to the cockpit area of the ship.

Tsu'tey attacks the soldiers, shooting an arrow at both of them, thinking Yn is in trouble. He pulls her to Fkew, and sits behind her, his arm wrapped tightly around her middle. "I'll keep you safe, we must leave now." he says, Fkew flying away from the battle zone.

Miles is in another ship and sees a glimpse of what could be a human on an ikran with a na'vi. Miles leans his arm onto the window, leaning closer to get a better look. He can tell it's Yn. No fucking way, she is sitting in front of him, his arm around her as they turn and fly away. What the fuck is she doing here? That fucker is going to die for touching her.

Miles' heart stops when the ikran is shot from the sky. Yn falling from its back, Tsu'teys arms unwrapping from her. Miles takes a breath of relief when an ikran catches her. He holds it again when it flies her in another direction, they disappear behind the mountains.

Miles is seething, shaking with fear and anger. Fear of not knowing where she is and if she's ok. Anger that someone would shoot her out of the sky, if they aren't dead by the time we get back, they will be.

POV YN

I watched as the other ikran flew back into the battle, Tsu'tey climbing onto its back and connecting the bond. I continued to dangle, the ikran's hold on my leg never wavering.

We land outside of a unit trailer. The ikran pushed me closer to the door with its head, snapping its jaws for me to move faster. I quickly close the door, removing the mask once fully inside. I walked to the pods, first seeing Norm and then I walked over to Jakes. I sat quietly, breathing slowly. I should've stayed at the base. This is so stupid, what was I thinking?

I sat alone for what seemed like hours, the beeping of the monitors the only noise to fill the room, along with my heavy breathing.

A sudden gasp had me jumping out of my skin, tears sprang to my eyes in terror as one of the pods opened. Norm sat up with a start. Gasping for air and clutching his chest. "Oh my god." He looked around the room, eyes landing on me.

I was crouching against the wall, having fallen off the stool I was perched on. I sobbed, my body relaxing at the familiar face in front of me.

"Y/n? What are you doing here? I thought you would've been back at hell's gate. "Norm jabbered as he moved closer to me.

My breathing slowed, "I hid away on one of the ships. I wanted to help." My body shook remembering the battle scene... remembering being shot at. "its fucking scary out there."

Norm sighed, glancing around the room again, his eyes locking on the guns hanging against the wall. He nodded, "Alright, I'm gonna go back out there. They need me. No matter what happens you stay in here."

Norms' voice got more serious as he ended his sentence, I nodded my head, rolling my stool closer to Jake's pod. "I'm not moving." With that Norm was out the door.

~It's a little shorter than I would've liked but its fine, the rest will be a little longer~
