Chapter 15- Endings

A few months later, Silco and Vander had made up. They continued with their dream to help the Lanes. This time, Vi joined their dream. "Stop arguing!" Ezra shouted, "I think I know someone who can help. Because Silco, Vander's right you have to get rid of the shimmer. And Vander, Silco's right, you have to keep fighting to get where we need to be." Silco and Vander hated how neutral Ezra always was. "Who can help?" Vander asked, annoyed. "The one and only Violet and Caitlyn Kirraman." Ezra said excitedly. "No!" Vander and Silco said in unison. "So you can agree? See they're already helping!" Ezra smiled. With the help of Vi and Caitlyn, the four were able to make the Undercity equal to Piltover. No more runoff, they would become one big city. The nation of Zuan and Piltover were put to an end and together the counselors created Evcity: the city of evolution and growth. Silco was given a position as a counselor as long as he never returned to shimmer production. Vander was also offered a position, but he turned it down and worked with Silco outside of the counselor's table.

Ezra and Silco both found help from Hextech. Silco had been using shimmer to manage his eye injury from the river and Ezra couldn't live with the unbearable pain from a bulletwound mixing with the river. Viktor, one of the cofounders of Hextech was able to help them. He also suffered with health issues that Hextech was unable to solve. Fortunately for Silco and Ezra, Viktor was able to help. Both of them had scarring from the river that didn't go away, but the pain was gone.

Ezra also developed a small crush on Viktor. "Thanks for everything." Ezra smiled. "It's no problem Ez." Viktor smiled. For the first time, Ezra didn't feel sad or guilty about someone else calling her Ez. Ezra went quiet as she thought about it. "I'm sorry, Ezra." Viktor thought she looked sad. "No, it's fine. My mom used to call me that, so it's been a while since I've heard that nickname in a good context. Thank you Viktor." Ezra lit up as she looked at Viktor. "It's no problem." Viktor smiled again. "I'll see you next week then?" Ezra felt awkward. "I was wondering if you want to go out to dinner sometime?" Viktor blurted out. His cheeks went pink. "I'd love to." Ezra smiled. Viktor and Ezra ended up getting together a few dates later. They fell head over heels for each other.

Ezra watched Vi fall madly in love with her Piltie, Caitlyn. They got married and had one daughter, whom Ezra loved. Vi joined the firelights in order to help the Lanes and Caitlyn continued to become chief of the enforcers. Jinx and Ekko got together after a few years. Ekko really improved Jinx's mental state. They never got married, but they spent the rest of their lives together. Jinx would invent new weapons for the firelights then move on to work with hextech through the help of Viktor. Jinx became the second generation of Hextech. Silco and Vander did great things for the underside of Evcity. They brought it to life and ensured they would stay equal for generations to come.

After almost thirty years of life, things finally worked out for Ezra. Eliza was given an official grave on the underside of Evcity. Silco and Vander surprised Ezra with it on Eliza's birthday. It brought her to tears. To this day Ezra will visit her mother and tell her all about what's happening in her life.

Vander died at seventy. He was buried next to Eliza. Vi took it the hardest, but everyone was there to keep them together. Silco died at seventy one. He wanted to be cremated, but he rests with Eliza and Vander. His health rapidly declined. Jinx almost went crazy again when it happened, but Ekko kept her together. Erza took both their deaths as hard hits. She felt like she had completely lost her mother after they both passed. Ezra was the last one keeping the kids together and she found it difficult, but Viktor never left her side.

Viktor died at sixty five. Ezra was grateful for all the extra years she got with him. But when she lost him she felt like she lost her other half. Outside of her kids, Viktor was Ezra's reason for life. She gave him everything she had to offer. They never had biological children of their own. They never saw a need to, but after Viktor passed Ezra questioned for a long time if that was the right choice.

Ezra lived to be seventy seven. The last two years of her life she fought to stay alive for her kids. Jinx, Ekko, and Vi weren't ready to let go of her yet. So she didn't let go. When she did pass it left the kids destroyed, but they knew she would be safe until they could reunite. Afterall, as much as Ezra was their mother figure, she was only five years older than Vi and nine years older than Jinx and Ekko.
