Her Seven Deadly Brothers (Part 1 and 2)

Chapter 29

Eleanora's eyes fluttered open slowly. They made contact with a white ceiling. She stared at it blankly for a moment. Her other senses slowly started to awaken.

First thing she felt was a hand that gripped her own. That hand was strong and warm against her cold skin.

She slowly turned her head to look at it. It was covered with tattoos and rings that looked familiar.

She looked up to see that it was indeed Lucifer who was sleeping and sitting right by her side, holding her hand.

A small smile formed at the end of her lips. As she tried to move, she was mentally startled by a sudden sharp pain at her throat.

That little smile changed into a frown as she tried to remember what had transpired. She could feel bandages wrapped around her slender neck and hiding the reason of this sharp pain.

As she tried to memorize the reason behind it, a headache formed.

But she finally remembered.

Her body froze.

Her spare hand immediately shot up to touch her neck. The sudden action caught Lucifer's attention.

He cracked his one eye open and looked down at Nora's panicking state.

He opened his both eyes fully and sighed, catching her attention.

"Now now now, you will hurt yourself more, so calm down." He squeezed her hand gently in a notion to calm her movements.

She looked up at him with tearful eyes and opened her mouth to speak but due to the pain, she could not form a single word out, fearing the worst.

Seeing her panicking state, Lucifer's spare hand reached up and patted her head.

"Easy easy. There's nothing wrong with you. You will be back to ok within no time." He comforted her.

"Just don't force yourself. Alright?"

She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling a tear rolling down her cheek.

Lucifer stared at her face as within moments, she lost consciousness again.

Tightly holding her hand in his, he stood up slightly to place a small kiss on her forehead.

Just as he did, a throat clearing sound was heard.

He froze for a moment and slowly looked back to see Hunter standing, near the doorway.

"So you and her are now good?"

"Hmph. As if! I was just swatting a fly off her face." Lucifer said in defiance.

Hunter raised his brow.

"I'm still not going to talk to her. I'm mad at her, remember?.." Saying this, he walked past him.

Hunter moved in Nora's direction. He took the chair that Lucifer occupied first. He crossed his arms over his chest and stared at her sleeping face.

'This is amusing that such a small human like yourself is capable of changing the monsters like us.' He grumbled in thought.

In the dead of night, a car emerged from the fog. It stopped near a abandoned building and the doors opened, creating a loud sound.

William and Vincent O' Crimson stepped out and looked at the abandoned and creepy old building.

"Is this the right location?" Vincent asked curiously while eying the barely standing building. It looked like it had seen better days but now seemed ready to collapse at any time.

"I still don't know why you agreed to this, William." Vincent murmured with a hint of concern.

William did not answer and began to move towards the entrance. Vincent followed closely behind.

All of a sudden, a shadowy figure jumped in front of them.

"You are surprisingly early!" An unfamiliar man stepped forward, letting the brothers see his face. In case they did not recognize him by his voice.

"Ecrin.." Vincent nodded, acknowledging his presence while William stared at him, without speaking.

"Boss is inside." He opened the door for them to enter.

"You could have selected a better place." Vincent chided him slightly as he entered behind William.

Ecrin chuckled in a friendly tone and looked at William's back.

"But the boss say that this place brings back a certain nostalgia."

**Flashback

"Get these two brats. Don't let them escape like the first one. I sw--"

The loud yelling of that man was cut off as he fell face forward.

"Really Will? There was no fun and you promised fun." A taunting voice echoed and a boy merely aged 10 or 11 jumped in front of the another boy who looked slightly older than him.

"Dom! Quiet down." Another boy emerged out from the shadows, with his hands in pockets.

'Dom' scoffed at that.

"You two are three years older than me but it doesn't mean that I will let you two boss around me. And wait a minute, didn't you runaway from here, Rio?"

"I didn't. Why do you think I will? I was merely swiping my way clear so we could get out of here. I don't want my father worrying and sending reinforcements." The said named 'Rio' boy stated calmly, indicating that he was indeed talking to a child.

"Yeah yeah. Slap that across our faces that your father actually worries."
'Dom' grumbled something along these lines under his breath and looked at William who was checking the pockets of their dead kidnappers.

"Woah! That dagger kinda looks cool."

'Dom' tried to reach forward to grab it but 'Rio' held him back by his jacket. He yanked him back to the place.

"Stay back."

'Dom' tried to wiggle out of his grip but no avail.

"There's nothing in here."

'Will' said loudly to gain their attention.

"So what are we still doing here?"

But 'Dom' got cut off as a loud ticking sound began to ring out of nowhere.

'Dom' paled while 'Will' and 'Rio' looked at each other.

"Oh hell nah! I didn't pay to die so soon!" 'Dom' yelled comically, widening his eyes.

'Rio' and 'Will' grabbed him and fell down on the floor, shielding him as a bomb go off.

A moment later, they opened their eyes to notice that it was just a false alarm. The old building was still standing intact.

"Hey! You two don't need to protect me just because I'm three years younger than you!"

'Dom's loud shout echoed in the night.

****Flashback over

William felt a small faint smile across his lips.

"It must be a cold day in a hell because you are smiling, bestfriend." He looked up at the source of this mocking voice.

There stood in front of him, Dominic O' Gray. The person William trusted the most in his life, same like his brothers.

Can you guys guess who is 'Rio'?? It's pretty easy tho lol... a warning if you are a old reader, the one of other main character Giovanni will be making his entry within next four chapters. His name will be changed here and with one of the reader's suggestion, I have chosen a pretty similar name. It will be Gianni....!!
