Present Day, a few hours after breakfast.

Cal stepped into his room, and saw Victoria sitting down on one of the two chairs at the desk, and reading a book. He walked over to her and sat down on the second chair next to her.

"What are you reading?" Asked Cal.

"A book called Deadzone." Replied Victoria.

"Never heard of it, mind giving me a quick rundown?" Asked Cal.

"Sure." Replied Victoria.

"It's about a post-apocalyptic version of Earth that's been taken over by these reanimated corpses. The main character then gets kidnapped and dropped off on an island where he must make alliances and fight to stay alive." Victoria Explained.

"Interesting." Replied Cal.

"It's a good read. I wonder when they'll come out with a sequel..." Victoria said. "Anyways, what did you come in here for?"

"I was wondering, would you be interested in going out for lunch?" Asked Cal.

"Of course I would." Victoria replied. "Where were you thinking we'd go?"

"I know a really nice restaurant that's a 3 minute walk from here." Said Cal.

"Sounds good. I'll go get ready and then I'll meet you outside." Replied Victoria.

"Sure." Said Cal.

Cal walked out of their room and headed outside. He stood next to the door and waited for Victoria to meet him. While he waited, Cal looked in his satchel, checking how much money he had.

"1 gold..."

"5 gold..."

"Cal." An unfamiliar voice called out to him. It sounded gritty and dark, but he also heard a little bit of familiarity within. So, Cal looked back up and in front of him to see the person who spoke to him. But confusingly enough, he saw that there was no one there.

"Hello?" Cal asked as he looked around in confusion.

Victoria then walked outside, and looked at his confused state.

"Cal?" Asked Victoria.

He snapped back to the moment and looked at Victoria, noticing how nice she was dressed. She sported a golden yellow dress, not the sleek and metallic looking kind, but the elegant and cloth type of dress.

"Are you... okay?" Asked Victoria.

He didn't want to worry her, as he thought that the voice was another one of those visions, so he had to come up with an excuse for acting so lost.

"Oh, yeah. It's just that... I didn't think we were supposed to be dressed nice." Said Cal. "You look amazing by the way."

"Awe, thanks." Replied Victoria.

She walked closer to him and grasped his hand then she looked into his eyes and smiled.

"Lead the way, Cal." Said Victoria.
