Life as a warrior cat

Chapter Nine- Four moons later

I woke up to Battlepaw and Swiftpaw talking to their mentors, Graystripe and Duskstorm. Purdy died of green cough and Sandstorm accually joined the elders den. Graystripe said he was going to go to the elders den when he was done training Battlepaw. Firestar's great- grand kit. Me and graystripe have grown to like eachother. He forgave me when I saved his life when a badger ran towrd him and his paw was stuck inbetween some rocks. Cats made such a big deal out of me chasing off a badger. Cherrywhisker had kits, Softkit and Rockkit.

  "Morning Graystripe." I purred. "Hows Battlepaw's training?"

  "Fine. He will be a amazing warrior. Just like his father and his great-great grand father." He purred "Lionblaze should be proud of his son."

  "I am" Lionblaze purred. "He will be just like me. I couldnt be more proud of both of my kits."

  "Dont forget me" Bramblestar purred. "I am leader and Lionblaze will take my place. He will live for countless moons because of the prophecy."

  "He will make a great leader when its his time to become leader." Jayfeather said. "No doght he will lead this clan to the strongest it been for countless moons ago. Anyway we need to go collect some herbs. Scarpaw you are coming with to get some cat mint we are very low sincec Clovertail and her kits got it. So we need to get more in case it comes back."

  "Okay, and we are alsolow on watermint." I mewed. "We will need to fetch a few leaves of that too."

  "Alright, I will get the cat mint and you get the watermint." Jayfeatyher mewed as he walked out of camp.

  I followed but moments later I changed my path to the stream. I grabbed a bit to drink then collected the watermint needed to cure Sandstorm's bellyache. She has been complaining about it all of today and yesterday. I headed back to camp and dropped some of the leaves off at the elders den for Sandstorm then put the rest in the medicine cat storage.

  "Jayfeather, I am going to sleep. It was a long day and I am tired. You should get some sleep too. You look exausted." I mewed. He hadnt gotten much sleep the night befor.

  "Alright, I will finish sorting these herbs then-." He was cut off  by Briarlight.

  "No, I will finish sorting the herbs. You need to sleep." She said sternly then nudged him to his nest and dragged herself to the herbs and started to sort them.

  I yawned and climbed into my nest and quickly fell asleep. Besides, tomorrow night me and Jayfeather were going to the gathering tomorrow.
