Chapter 5: Time to play

We fell asleep together in this position until the morning.

Ella POV

It was almost 11 am and I woke up first. I tried to remember where I was. I was so confused. I felt something blowing over me like a deep breath. I raised my head and I realised it was Riki. I slept all the night with Riki by my side.

I got up suddenly by surprise but unintentionally woke up Riki at the same time. He looked at me , and I was so uncomfortable that I got up to go into the kitchen.
I drank a cup of water. I was looking at the clock when I remembered that it was Sunday. We didn't have to go at school.
He got up and went towards me.

"What do you want to do today ?" He asked.

"We need to do the project Riki, we are late. "  I looked at him, he seemed depressed by what I said.

"We can do it after a bit of playing ?" He looked at me, with the kind of smile that could make you give in to anything.

" No first of all, we do the project, then we can do whatever you want! "

"Whatever I want?" He smirked at me . I didn't know whether to regret saying that or not.

"Yes, whatever you want. Let's study now, Riki. "

I tried to act calmly as if nothing had happened last evening, the fact that we had slept together, but in reality I was very happy to be able to stay with him.

Riki POV

We worked for the project all the morning until the afternoon. We ate ramyeon at the same time.
When it was almsot 3 pm, I decided to stop working for a moment. I was tired of working all along the day.

"Can we do whatever I want now ? You said it! Keep your promise. " I said.

"What do you want to do?"

"Let's play some games !"

"Games? What games?"

"Follow me. "

Before she asked me something I grabbed her hand and took her out on my bike.
I took her arms and put them around my waist.
I rode through the sun. The sound of crickets and songbirds could be heard. As the sunset, the shadows of the flowering trees fell on us .
We finally arrived at the place I wanted to take her, the playground.

It was a fairly large games room with an arcade. Anyone could come and play, and except my bestfriend Jake, I had never brought anyone else here.
I looked at her, she smiled like a child, with light twinkling in her eyes.

I took her in the mini basketball court.

"Let's play basketball. "

" I'm not good in basketball. "

"I will teach you like I always do , it's okay. Thanks to me you may even surpass me. Even if it's impossible, I'm too strong. "

I took a ball and placed it in her hands. I'd stand behind her, still holding her hands. I'd help her score a few baskets until I let her play. I was watching her playing when she scored  several points in a row. I looked at her proudly as if she were my child whom I had just learned to play.
Then we played together a one-on-one match and, as expected,  I won the game. She pouted her lips,  she wanted to win the game.
So I teased her , like I used to do it . I enjoyed seeing her sulk because of my jokes.

Then, we went to the gripper machines for plushes. I wanted to win a plush, to give it to her.
She looked at the game with a beautiful smile.
I didn't know what was going on with me , but I smiled at everything about her.
