Chapitre 4: back to work

"I think I must go back to the agency"

Ella POV

I went to the school, but I didn't wanted to go because I was so stressed about Riki. But when I arrived at my class, I saw the Riki's empty desk. He wasn't there . I stared at it without saying anything. I understood that something wrong happened to him. Since yesterday , I had felt that something happened when I bought the ice-cream. I decided to send him a message.

"Hey! Are you okay?"

I didn't know what could I say. I didn't want to bother him.

"If something wrong happened you can tell me. I will help you!"

I turned off my phone,  waiting for his answer.

But I wouldn't received any answer.

I was much more worried than before , because I didn't received any answer from Riki. I looked at the gloomy and cloudy sky through the window of the classroom.  Suddenly, I stood up, ran out the classroom and nobody could understand why. Everyone looked at me confused.
I was running even faster than my run with Riki yesterday.
I arrived at his house and rang the doorbell. No answer. I knocked at the door. No answer. I breathed heavily, I didn't know what could I do to see him.

"Maybe , I must wait, as he asked me" I said.

I sat down on the cold floor.

Riki POV

I entered the agency, and ran up to the 7th floor where my manager's office was. I was so angry.
I wanted to see my manager. I was pretty sure that he was the one behind the photo.
Without knocking at the door, I entered.

"Who did that??" I said coldly.

My manager looked at me confused, like he didn't understand what I was talking about. But I was sure he just pretended.

"What are you talking about?" He said.

"You know what I 'm talking about! Who took the photo of me? "

"I don't know who did that, I don't have any idea of that. Show me the photo. " 
I approached him and show him my phone with the photo. He didn't seem surprised, which encouraged me to think he was behind at all.

"You are lying, you always did that when one of the members going out with someone. Don't pretend to be innocent. "

"Okay, but now it was not me. I'm serious. But who is that girl?"

"It's not your problem. You don't need to do that, I just want to take my break peacefully, so please stop it. "

I was out the door before he could even answer.

"Maybe I have been too harsh. "

I was getting out of the car and I walked to get home when I saw something , or rather someone in front of the door.
It was someone who slept, sitting on the stairs . I didn't know who it was .
I tried to know who it was and I gasped when I saw Ella. She was curled up on herself, her head between her arms. I didn't know how long she stayed here. She must had fallen asleep waiting for me to go back home. I took my phone and I saw 13 missed calls from her. I was so sorry for not giving her any response. I opened her message.

" You can tell me, I will help you. "

I looked at her, confused and sorry.

"You can't help me, even if you want. You'll be hurt" I whispered in her ear.

I had to take her home. I tried to wake her up but it was impossible. She didn't give any response. I decided to carry her and take her to my room. I went upstairs with Ella on my back and I put her in my bed. I stared at her for minutes, I tucked her hair behind her ear and I smiled at her cute face.

" You must have been so cold waiting for me like that, you're going to get sick. You can sleep now. As much as you like, little girl. You are really pretty. I suppose it's for that reason I like you since a long time now. "

She began to move as if she were being hindered by something, or rather by someone. So I moved and left her alone.
I decided to watch tv and after 2 hours , I fell asleep on the sofa.

Ella POV

It was almost midnight, and I suddenly woke up. I looked at the room where I was and I knew that I was in Riki's bedroom.
I went out and down the stairs. Then I stopped myself when I saw Riki sleeping on the sofa.
I approached him and I puts a blanket over him. I sat next to him.

"I hope you are okay, and nothing bad happened to you. "

I watched the TV and I gasped when he began to move suddenly and whisper something strange that I couldn't hear.
I moved my face closer to him so I could hear him better .

"Ella.." he whispered.
I looked at him in a confusion.

"I miss you.."

I gasped at his words, and because I was leaning over him to hear what he was saying, I fell on him in surprise when he opened his eyes.

"What are you doing on me ?" He asked.

I didn't know what can I answer. The situation was so awkward.

"Oh.. euh.. nothing I just put the blanket on you because you were sleeping. "

He smiled. I was sure he didn't believe me .

I stood up then he grabbed my hand. I turned to look at him who was almost still asleep.

"Don't go anywhere. Stay with me please. "

I looked at him, confused but I couldn't stop smiling at him and I caressed his cheek.

"I'm not going anywhere Riki, don't worry. I must be here for my friend! "
He breathed heavily, then I just sat next to him and continued watching tv together .

Riki POV

After an hour , Ella puts her head on my shoulder, and I put mine on her head .
We stayed like that for a long time until I stared at Ella and saw her sleeping peacefully on my shoulder.
I took her into my embrace and let her sleep in my arms .
My eyes started to sting and my vision blurred. I knew I was going to fall asleep.

"I'm sleepy, little girl. Can I sleep with you tonight? I promise I will just stay like that. I'm not going to bother you or keep you awake. Good night Ella."

I continued taking her in my embrace and I fell asleep. We slept together this night.
