I knew him when I was 18, on my way to 19...
I knew him from afar. I admired him from afar.
And now, I love him and he loves me. But this time, I don't love him only like a fan, like I used to, I love him like crazy.
Months passed. Years passed. Everything was fine. All was well. But...

Jungwon POV

I went into the dressing room, there was no one there. Only her. My love. Ella.

"Hey Ella, how are you? You're pretty in your dress." I said.

"Oh thank you Jungwon. You're handsome too."

I looked at her, in an admiring way. She was beautiful. The same as always. I loved looking at her smile, her hair, her face...

"Jungwon, can you help me close the back of  my dress?"

"Of course, honey."

"Thank you so much. You're the best Jungwon."

Then she looked at me and smiled. A smile that melted my heart. Then she ran her fingers through my hair.

I stared at her while taking her shoulders. I looked at her lips, and put her hair behind her ears.

"My lovely Ella.. You're 23 now, you have grown so pretty. I love you Ella. "

"Jungwon, me too."

I kissed her on the forehead. Then, I turned around and left her alone.

RIKI POV

There was a crowd talking in a deafening din. Everyone were sat on the benches, waiting for her. I was staring at the door. The tension was horrible.

Harmonious music full of tenderness resounded around us.  Everyone seemed to be happy. I didn't know how I feel. Was I happy? Or not? Stressed? Or not?
A noise woke me from my thoughts.
The door opened suddenly, and Jungwon appeared holding Ella's arm.
The music echoed around us. Everyone were smiling. Jungwon too.

She was pretty. She was the prettiest. In a long white dress. Her hair falling upon her shoulders. Jungwon was also so handsome. They were a pretty good match. My friend, and Ella, my first love. Yes, a good match.
It was time...
I had to be happy.

They walked together while smiling and arrived in front of me.

"It's the moment."

Jungwon POV

I was smiling, looking at Ella. She seemed to be so happy. I was happy too. I looked at Riki, he was smiling. He must have been happy too.
She was so pretty. My heartbeat was so fast.

"Do you promise to be faithful to each other until death do you part?"

"Yes."

"Yes" she said.

As the words left her mouth, the crowd rose their feet while shouting of happiness.

I was smiling, yes. I was happy, yes, but a tear rolled on my face. I wiped it away the moment my gaze met Ella's, tears in the eyes. Was she crying too?

Minutes went by. I was talking to Ella, when I saw Riki coming towards us.

"Hey, you're handsome today!"

"You too."

"I wish you all the best for the future. I hope you both get everything you need, because you deserve the best."

"Thank you so much."

"And now, I think I can finally let you take care of Ella. It's not my role anymore."

"You'll always be someone who counted in her life and still does, you know, you'll always be able to take care of her as a friend now."

Jake arrived smiling.

"Can I take care of her too?"

"No!" we said in one voice together , making Ella laughed.

We laughed together. The situation was funny. We were both jealous.

Riki POV

I did everything I had to do, and I said everything I had to say. I was happy. Very happy. But my feelings were blurred. Was it because I was stressed?
Seeing Jungwon smiling, made me happy. Seeing them laughing together without anger, or sadness , made me feel happiness.

"Everything is fine now. I'm happy for good. Everything has worked out. And I can continue my work like I used to without any problems."

Jungwon POV

Everyone were smiling and laughing. It was a great wedding. I was talking with my group, and I saw Riki sitting on a bench at the bottom of the room.

I came towards him.

"What do you do?"

"Oh, I was thinking about my future."

"Why?"

"I feel weird these days. I don't know if I'm stressed, or sad, or happy...There's been a lot of changes lately. "

"You're just stressed Riki. Don't worry. Have fun before the party ends."

I patted his shoulder and I went back into the crowd, hoping he'd join me.

I was leaning against the wall. Looking at everyone. What time it was? Approximately midnight.
I was tired. I stared at Ella. She was smiling again. She was never tired of smiling. I was pretty sure she was so tired. I wanted to take her home. But I had to wait. No. I had to go.

I was walking towards the door. I turned around and took one last look at Ella.

"Good bye my love. See you soon. I'm tired tonight. I just want to sleep. I'm sorry of leaving. Have fun. "

I started to leave but stopped before closing the door.

"Good bye. I love you Ella, but you're Riki's love. I enjoyed being your best man at the wedding. "

I got out, and closed the door, leaving the wedding ...
