Chapter 19: confession

She had fainted.

These words frustrated me. I felt like I was being selfish, in fact I was being selfish. I knew what she wanted and I was stopping her.

I called the ambulance. She was still weak. I weakened her. She had to go back to the hospital. I'll continue to help her , and to take care of her.

I ran to the agency to pick up some things for her, but when I got there I bumped into Riki. I wanted to dodge her but it was impossible.

"What are you doing Jungwon? How are you? You seem preoccupied." He said.

"I'm okay , I just have to go somewhere. Don't worry. "

"Where? Are you going to see Ella?"

"No, don't try to find out."

I was a bit cold with him. He watched me take care of business and turn my back on him as I left. I'd talk to him later.

Riki POV

It had been 3 months since I left. I was happy to see them, but I missed her. I missed Ella so much. And I noticed that Jungwon was acting strangely this time. He wouldn't talk to me about Ella, even though he had promised to look after her, and he was often away and never there. He never said where he was or where he was going.

"He must have gone to see Ella. She's in the hospital again. " Jake said

"Again?"

"Yes she fainted and I've already heard Jungwon talking on the phone to a nurse and I think she's ill."

"Sick? What do you mean, sick?" I said.

"I don't know. I just heard him talking, I don't know what's wrong. "

I couldn't wait. I was told to wait for now before going to see her but knowing she was ill I couldn't ignore it. I ran out and met Jungwon who was about to leave.

"Why didn't you tell me? You're supposed to take care of her, okay, but why don't you tell me about her? Why don't you tell me if she's okay or not ? Why didn't you tell me she was sick?"

"I have to take care of her. She's not sick, she's just continuing to rest and check that her wounds are healing"

"I can do it too."

"No you can't, you mustn't."

"She's probably waiting for me, I'm sure. Let me see her. "

"Stop thinking too much Riki. I haven't heard from you in 3 months. So don't try to come back like that. She doesn't need you anymore."

"Please Jungwon, let me see her. I really missed her. I couldn't talk to her for 3 months, it' s not that I don't want to. And the last day before I left I saw her at the airport and you were there too. They didn't let me talk to her for more than 5 minutes. You saw it very well. You promised to take care of her, but let me do it now."

"That's what I do. I took care of her and I'm going to continue."

"Please let me see her. "

"Why do you still want to see her after all this time? "

Because. Because I love her.

"Please Jungwon. "

He sighed

"I let you go. But only once. If anything happens tonight, I won't let you see her again."

"Why?"

"Because I love her."
