Chapter 26: feelings

Why do you play with my heart Ella?

Ella POV

I opened my eyes. I was trying to understand where I was. In Riki's room?
And I realized I'd fallen asleep. I turned my head and saw Riki, aslo asleep. I was resting against his chest and he was holding me close to him. He hugged me. It felt so good. 

It was so warm and comfortable.
I looked at him.
Why was he so handsome?
I started to trace the lines of his face with my fingers.
The shape of his face was so smooth and thin. Who couldn't fall in love with him? I was lost in thoughts, analyzing every details of his face, he was so close.

"I love you too Riki" I whispered in his ear.

Then I laid my head on him and I hugged tightly his waist . My head on his chest. I could hear his heart beat, his breath. I fall asleep. Again.

When the sun rose, I finally realized for good that we had just slept together. Side by side, hugging each other.
I could feel his warmth. His heartbeat. His breath. His hands brushing my arms.
I've never had such a comforting, soothing night in my life.
I liked it so much . I wanted to stay like that. But ....

"Ella, are you awake?"

"Oh, yes. " I jumped up and got out of bed.

"It's okay, if you want to sleep more you can . I let you sleep."

He opened his arms to me like a child cuddling his mother. It was cute but embarassing. I wanted to go back into his arms. But I wasn't sure I was enough confident.

"No it's okay, I'm good now. I go to the bathroom." I was surely blushing.

I left him.

Riki POV

I never knew I could sleep so easily and pleasantly in my life . It was the best night I've ever had.

I enjoyed it. But I remembered that she seemed to make it clear that she didn't love me back. Or she didn't want to confess and it made me frustrated.

"Riki, what do you want to do today?" She asked. She woke me from my thoughts.

"Do you want to go shopping?" I asked as an answer.

"Shopping?"

"Yes. "

I grabbed her hand and led her to the mall.

Arrived at the mall, we didn't even know where to go first. We were shopping all over the place. Looking at what was inside each store. Playing, trying on clothes endlessly.

In a clothing store, I gave her a dress. I wanted to see her in it. She wore it, and looked at me. She was so beautiful. A short white dress that suited her perfectly.
She looked like an angel. She smiled at me. My heartbeat started to speed up.

"Wait, I'll be right back." I left her in the shop. I had to get some fresh air, my heart was racing.

After a moment, she gave me a cap. I put it on my head and she took the same one and wore it too. A black and grey cap.

"Riki, come here !"

"What?"

She grabbed my arm and pulled me in front of a mirror. She took a picture of the two of us wearing the same cap. She was cute.

"You'll send me the photo." I said.

When we got out of the store, we started to get hungry. I could hear her stomach growling. So I bought an iced americano for the two of us at a café.
It was a great moment. I enjoyed it. I liked all the moments spent with her. I wanted it to never end. 

"I want these moments to never end. " I said.

"Yes me too. It's funny and so cool. I like it. "

"Hey, do you know that Lisa and I, we've reconciled?" she asked.

"No. It's a good news. I hope she understand her mistake now."

"She looked really bad for hurting me. I believe her."

Time went by and it was already getting late, we were walking together around the mall, having done almost all the shops.

"It's almost the night do you want to eat something?"

"In fact, I'd really like to go somewhere special with you."

"Where is it?"

"Can we go to the Han river together? This night?"

"Of course. Let's go. " She answered

Ella POV

It was cool outside but not cold. We walked along the Han river, not even talking. Just looking at the landscape around us. There was hardly anyone around, no shadows or noises to disturb the moment. It had been such a long time since I had been here, it made me feel so nostalgic.

We walked for moments. Then I took his hand and continued walking. Without even looking at him. I enjoyed the warmth of his hand.

He stopped walking. I stopped too and looked at him. He suddenly let go of my hand.

"Why did you do that? You know my feelings, and I don't know yours. But you keep playing with mine."

"You didn't want to know my feelings Riki. You're the one who stopped me telling you my feelings. "

"I didn't want to know, it's true. But you were right too. It hurts me to stay with you without knowing your true feelings."

"Riki.. "

"Ella. Please.." he approached me. I stepped back. He looked at me sadly.

"Please. Give me a chance to prove you can love me. Love me like I do."

I looked at him. And I smiled.

"I already do." I said.

He widened his eyes. He looked at me. And smiled me back.

He approached me, while smiling. We stared at each other. There was no more sound. The moon reflected through the river. The air blowing his hair and mine.

I looked at his lips. Then his eyes. I give him a hug, he grabbed my waist. I lifted my head to look at him and he looked back at me. Gently moving closer, and closer. Then I closed my eyes and placed my hands on the back of his neck.
We kissed.

I kissed him first? Or he kissed me first? I didn't know, but we kissed.

We kissed while hugging each other. There was no sound outside. No thoughts. Juste the mixes feelings and extreme emotions floating in the air, creating harmony between the two of us, harmony throught kissing.
