"I missed you."

"I missed you too." Austin said calmly. "C-can we go please?" I asked still slightly crying. "Of course." He said leading me to his car.

After a while of driving we had finally arrived at his apartment. He lived alone in a one room apartment. There was a small living area with a kitchen/dining room on one half of the apartment, then on the other side there was a small hallway with a bathroom and bedroom.

He walked me down to his room. He grabbed some clothes out of his closet and handed them to me. He told me to follow him as he lead me to his bathroom. He then told me how to work the shower so if I needed or wanted too I could.

He then left to give me some privacy. I decided I should probably take a shower because I was at a party, crying, and laying/sitting on the ground.

After my shower I got changed and walked into his room. He told me I could put my stuff on this little table he has in his room. I was really awkward cause I was still like half crying, not like full on sobbing but more like a tear falls about once every minute.

(Austin's POV)
I was so awkward, Eve was still sort of crying and I didn't know how to comfort her so I just sat there patting her back.

After awhile she calmed down and we started watching Netflix on my computer. We were sitting on my bed, she had curled herself into a little ball sitting next to me. For some reason I always found my self staring at her, not in a creepy way though! She looked so, I don't know, cute in my hoodie, it made her look super tiny.

(Eve's POV)
As we were watching Netflix, I look over at Austin and see him staring at me in awe. As soon as we make eye contact he looks away blushing a little. I laugh to myself a little and continue watching the show.

~Time Skip~

It was getting later and I was getting more tired. There was multiple times when I almost fell asleep but then I would force myself to open my eyes. It wasn't to long before Austin noticed. "You tired?" He asked me. "Mhm" I say nodding a little. "You can go to sleep if your tired." He said softly. "B-but I don't wanna m-miss the show." I say looking over at him. "You'll be fine, you won't miss anything. I was just thinking about going to bed too." He said closing his computer. He got up and put it on his table. He walked over had me lay down and tucked me in.

"W-wait!" I say. "Yea" He says turning back around and walking over to me. "W-where are you sleeping?" I ask. "On the couch." "O-ok" I say as he gets up. He walks over to the lamp in his room and turn it off leaving us in complete darkness.

If there's one thing that you should know is that I'm terrified of the dark. He walks over next to me and gives me a little hug telling me good night. I tried to deal with the dark but I couldn't do it anymore.

As Austin started to walk away I grabbed the end of his shirt. He turned around to look at me turning on the lamp again. "C-can you stay." I said quietly, just loud enough so he could hear me. "Uh, sure." He says as I move closer to the wall. He gets in and gets underneath the covers.

(Austin's POV)
I turn off the light and immediately feel Eve tense up. I look over at her and see her huddled in a ball under the covers. "Eve, are you ok?" I ask softly. "D-dark, th-they h-hurt me i-in the d-dark." She says tears falling.

I wrap my arms around her and feel her start to relax. Her sobs soon turn to faint whimpers. "It's ok, I've got you. No one will ever hurt you ever again." I say my eyes starting to well up with tears.

I feel her pain, I can understand why she would want to end her life. I many people in her life hurt her and she's just so small fragile. If someone where to touch her the slightest in a bad why she would crumble. I don't know why but I feel the need to protect her. I end up falling into a deep sleep with a tear falling down my cheek.

~The next day~

I woke up and saw Eve still fast asleep next to me. She looked so cute! Wait why am I saying that?! I was going to wake her up to get food we but I decided not to because she had a very long day yesterday.

I got up and out of bed and went to the living room. I just decided to watch some tv.

(Eve's POV)
I woke up and looked over to see an empty spot in the bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I grabbed my phone and saw it was 10 in the morning. I slowly got out of bed and walked down the hallway into the living room to see Austin making breakfast in the kitchen.

"Oh, just in time!" He said happily, bringing to plates of food to the table. I slowly walked to the the table and sat down in a seat. "I just finished breakfast!" He said setting a plate in front of me.

My eyes lit up with happiness. There was two waffles on the plate covered in syrup. I LOVE waffles!

"You like waffles?" Austin asked watching my stare at the waffles in awe. "I love waffles!" I say happily grabbing my fork. Austin laughs a little.

This is the best day ever!
