Falling for you

This is the best day ever!

~A couple years later~
(Eve is 21, and Austin is 22)
Me and Austin are best friends now! I haven't talked to Jackson since that day, I still live at his house but he moved out so it's just me and my mom(She calls Jackson's mom her mom).
There is on thing I have to confess though. I think I'm in love with my best friend.

"Mom! I'm going to Austin's!" I yell down to Jackson's mom. "Ok hun? You going to be back or are you staying there?" She says. "Staying there."I said running to give her a big hug. "Ok then, see you tomorrow!" She says hugging me back. "Bye!" I say running out the door. "Bye." She says going back to what she was doing.

Once I get to his apartment he opens the door and lets me inside. We watch some tv and then end up going into his room eating snacks and playing Never Have I Ever.

"Ok, never have I ever eaten a worm." I say. "Oh come on!" He says. "What?" I say confused. "We have to make it juicy." He says annoyed. "How?" "Ok here, I'll do one." He says sitting up. "Never have I ever hooked up with my best friends ex?" "Nope! I would never do that!" I say laying down. "Me neither."

"My turn! Never have I ever dated my best friend?" I say slowly putting a finger down. "Nope." He says as I try to hide my face. "Why are y- No way! You actually have!" He says shaking me. "Yea." I say sadly. "Who?!" He asks. "Jackson..." "What?!" "It was only for a week though!! We thought we were better off as friends!" I yell covering my face with my hands to prevent him from seeing the blush of embarrassment on my face.

He grabs my wrists and pulls my hands out of my face. "Don't find your face." He says looking into my eyes. "Your blush is cute!" He says smiling. My face gets even more red and I hide my face in the blankets. "Stop doing that!" He laughs trying to pull me up.

~An hour later~

We decided to go to bed because we were going to wake up at three to do like a mini investigation because Austin's apartment is really haunted.

It's been about an hour and I can't fall asleep. I sit up and look over at the clock and see it's 1 in the morning. Then I look over at Austin and he's fast asleep. 'He looks so fucking cute when he's sleeping!!!'  I lay back down and smile lightly.

I try to go to sleep again but I still couldn't, I had no clue why but I could just feel like something wrong was going to happen. I just decided to go on my phone when I heard loud bangs coming from the door.

I got up to go see who it was. I looked through little peep hole thing and saw someone I never thought I would have seen ever in my life ever again.
