"Are you having fun Kirlia?" Y/N asked as the two danced in circles. Lightning and Draceon were sitting by, watching the two dance as Zara was working on a snack for the group. "We shall dance the day away..." Y/N said in a joking way as he gently twirled his Pokémon. Zara watched with a small smile on her face as she finished up.
"Y/N... I want you to try something..." Zara said with small smile. Y/N and Kirlia stopped dancing and Y/N bowed to his Pokémon. "Thank you for the dance..." Y/N said as his Kirlia bowed back. Soon, Y/N joined by his Pokémon walked up and looked at what Zara had made.

"Oh... fancy..." Y/N said as Lightning, Draceon and Kirlia's eyes sparkled. "Looks like the boys... and Kirlia wants to try them... can they?" Y/N asked, and Zara nodded. "Yeah... but you have to try one too." Zara said while holding up the Pokepuff but much to her surprise, Y/N just ate it right out of her hand. "Y-Y/N...?!" Zara said and Y/N just smiled.
"This is really good... you're great at making these." Y/N said happily as his Pokémon also agreed with his statement upon eating the pokepuffs. "I-I just fed you... by hand..." Zara said turning as red as her hair and Y/N just shook his head.
"I was holding Kirlia... also, we're just friends... I'm a hot mess right now... you think starting a relationship with a guy like me is a good idea? I'm one moment away from going over the edge... I'm still trying to learn how to enjoy my life..." Y/N said as he began to spin with a happy Kirlia happily chirping in his arms. "Glad to know you're having fun Kirlia..." Y/N said silently to his Pokémon.
"S-so... what else do you wanna do in Cyllage city?" Zara asked hiding her sadness, but Y/N saw right through it. "Well, I want my friend to stop sulking... and I said it's up to you... now then... while you figure that out, I'm gonna dance with Kirlia..." Y/N said as he and Kirlia kept dancing.
As the two danced and Zara watched, Serena, Ash, Clemont and Bonnie walked up. Serena looked at Y/N who was enjoying himself with his Pokémon, it was such a different sight for her. The typically stoic and bitter Y/N was now smiling a bright and vibrant smile and enjoying his Pokémon. However, Y/N's eyes landed on the group that arrived and his smile vanished slightly.
"Hey..." Ash said awkwardly and Y/N waved but then he felt something tugging on his hand, looking down he saw Kirlia looking up at him with sad eyes. Y/N kneeled down and looked at his Pokémon.
"I'm okay... don't you worry... I'm just fine..." Y/N said smiling but Kirlia saw right through the smile and held both Y/N's hands. "Heh, looks like Kirlia isn't leaving my side today." Y/N joked as Bonnie shyly walked up to Y/N.
"U-Uh... Y/N... may I please pet your Pokémon?" Bonnie asked and Y/N, much to everyone's surprise, nodded. "Sure, just be careful with Draceon, he's still not used to other people. But Lighting loves attention." Y/N said as the two Pokémon walked over. Lightning immediately took the lead in walking up to Bonnie who happily rubbed his head. As for Draceon, he stood behind Y/N's legs.
