Everyone was in the cafeteria eating with their Pokémon. All talking and chatting, as they were all doing so Sycamore took his place on the stage and told everyone about the event. "I hope you all are enjoying your time at camp." Sycamore began. "Team Torchic is in the lead with Team Froakie and Squirtle tied for second but don't worry it's still anyone's game. This next challenge is a race. In this race you and your teammates will team up with your Pokémon to collect stamps from various checkpoints. Once all is collected, you'll race back to the finish line." Sycamore said with a smile. "As always, first place gets 10 points, Second gets seven and third gets three." He finished as Tierno and Ash stood up pumped.
"Oh yeah! Team Squirtle is taking back the lead!" Tierno said as Ash scoffed. "Yeah right... team Froakie is taking this one!" He retorted. Meanwhile, Serena was staring at Y/N who was sitting with Zara. Zara was holding his arm while resting her head on his shoulder. "Zara... you tired?" Y/N asked her. "Yeah... today's challenge wore me out." She said and Y/N nodded. "I understand that... rest up... you'll need it for tomorrow it seems." Y/N said as Zara nodded snuggling him closely.
"Hey... do you guys think we're outmatched here?" Shauna asked and Y/N shrugged. "I'm not sure... I don't think I have any Pokémon that can help us." Y/N said, deep in thought. "Running is not my strong suit." Zara said sleepily. "Me neither." Shauna added. "Meh... I'm not so bad... but the others could beat us." Y/N admitted. "This is gonna be rough." Y/N added.

The next day, everyone was at the starting line and Y/N had an idea. As everyone was discussing strategy, Y/N approached Shauna and Zara with a plan. "That's awesome! You think it'll work?" Shauna asked. "It would definitely be risky, but it'll conserve stamina." Zara said as Y/N nodded.
"Alright... everyone ready?" Sycamore said raising his hand. "GO!" He said and Y/N quickly made his move. "GO KIRLIA!" Y/N said.

"Kirlia Psychic!" Y/N said as she nodded. Kirlia used her Psychic power to float Y/N and the others. They all then flew over the competition. "Ha! Y/N this plan is brilliant!" Zara said as she looked down at the baffled looks of the other teams. "Yeah, but Kirlia can only get us to the first stamp." Y/N said quickly. They all quickly created distance between them and the other teams as Y/N landed next to the first checkpoint and got a stamp. "There's one!" Y/N said as the two smiled.
With Kirlia out of stamina, Y/N put her away and they continued to look for the other stamps. However, the lead they built vanished quickly as Team Froakie and Squirtle caught up. The three teams were all trading stamps as the lead changed between them. With each team now filled with stamps, Y/N, Calem and Ash were racing one another to the finish line. "We're gonna win!" Ash said. "Fat chance of that Ash!" Calem replied as Y/N past them both. "NOT SO FAST Y/N! QUILLADIN ROLLOUT!" Calem commanded as his Quilladin hit a nearby cliffside creating a rockslide. "Y/N LOOK OUT!" Serena cried as the rockslide knocked Y/N off of the cliff. "Y/N!" They all cried as Calem adopted a pale face seeing Y/N fall. Without a second thought Lightning jumped off the cliff after his master.
