*~{Yuni}~*
A young Crimson runs through the forest on the island she and Sonic came from. She's chasing a blue bird, or a 'flicky' as they're called here.
She slows down at a tree as she becomes tired, the flicky lands on a branch and hops to the side, staring down at her.
"I just... want a feather... a single... feather." She breathed out.
It tilts its head before a twig snap is heard and it flies away.
The young Crimson gasps and turns around just in time to see a young echidna jump out of the bushes with a battle cry, going to attack her.
She moves out of the way and ends up falling to the ground on her tail.
"Halt, apprentice of Longclaw! Your reign of terror ends here!" He says pointing a wooden spear at the red wolf pup.
"Wh-Wha, huh?!" Crimson yelps.
"Don't play dumb! How could one of the owl's apprentices be as naive to wander around in the territory of the echidnas?"
Crimson slowly stands up, staring him in his purple eyes.
"You will follow me, and once we regroup with my tribe, you will lead us to the last of the owls." He commands.
Crimson looks to the side before looking back at him. "No."
"Bye-bye." She waves and runs off.
"H-Hey! Don't run from me when i've captured you!" He follows pursuit, trying to keep up with her.
Crimson continues to run, slinking around trees, under branches, and jumping over a big log.
The echidna follows her, spear in hand.
"Stop running and accept your defeat!" He calls out as she ducks under another log.
She jumps up on a fallen tree over a rushing river and walks across it slowly. That is, before the echidna also jumps onto the tree causing it to shift and Crimson to loose her balance, grabbing onto the tree and hugging it with her life.
"You have been defeated! Either come with me or perish in the river."
The tree begins to crack as the echidna makes his way to her.
"Stop! If you keep moving the tree will break!" Crimson yells.
"Do not try and fool me!" He takes another step and the tree snaps, falling into the river and taking them with it.
They both pop up from under the water in a coughing fit.
"Sonic!" Crimson yells and then coughing from the water intake. "Longclaw! Help!" She yells out.
The young pup gets caught on a large root from a nearby tree, as she tried to cough out the water she swallowed.
"Father! Someone! Help!" The echidna calls out, before he's taken under, Crimson jumps out and grabs him, holding onto the edge of the root.
"Why are you saving me?! I don't need help from an enemy!" He growls and pushes her off.
"Wait!" She calls out before a branch whacks him in the head, causing him to go under.
She swims after him, holding her breath and going underwater, seeing his foot stuck in a rock. She tries to pull him out under the flow of the river.
Her vision starts to go hazy as she runs out of breath, before a new person jumps into the water and grabs them, successfully pulling the echidna out and returning to the surface, grabbing onto another root and pulling the three of them out.
Crimson coughs heavily, regaining her breath, and trying to get out any water that entered her body.
She heard coughing beside her and looked to see the echidna regaining consciousness and a larger blue wolf helping him.
It was almost intimidating how much bigger he was to her, almost... unnatural... she assumed he must've been older.
He turns to meet her stare, staring at the same colored light yellow eyes as him.
A hexagon appears in the dark, one triangle already sparking with purple energy. Another one bursts to life with red energy, surprising them both.
The blue wolf goes to speak when the echidna interrupts.
"Y-You tried to save my life... why?" He asks.
She turns away and begins to run away.
"Wait! Come back! Answer me!" He demands.
Crimson turns back and looks at him with sparking purple eyes.
