"This place is beautiful..." taking in a deep breath, she smiled as the smell of cool salt water entered her nose.

Even though the ground and trees were covered in snow, the estate was still beautiful and she knew this place would look even better in summer.

"Excuse me."

The two stopped their gawking as a voice entered their ears. Turning around, (Name) met the brown eyes of a young lady. Her voice was soft but firm.

"May I ask who are you and what is the purpose of your visit?" Moving her eyes from (Name) she rested them on the kakushi in front of her. The boy blushed as he felt her eyes on him.

They entered the demon slayer corps around the same time and went through a small but very detailed training for kakushi.

Yes, you wouldn't expect kakushi to go through training but you'd be surprised.

'She was the prettiest girl there...'

Clearing his throat to calm his nerves, he placed his hands behind his back. "W-were here to see Hashira-sama!" He answered quickly.

The girl stared.

"May I ask what for?"

"O-oh yea o-of course! Can't believe I just did that... This child here wishes to seek training." Moving to the side, he gestured towards (Name) who stood there rocking on the heels of her feet.

The female kakushi nodded, "He isn't here as of right now, but he should be back soon." The two nodded at this information.

"Well (Lastname)-San, what do you want to do? Stay here and wait or go off and do something else until then?" He asked the girl.

She stopped her rocking and looked at the two, "I want to stay, I don't think I can survive another walk to his estate." Hunching over into the snow, she dramatically fell. "Ack! As the cold seeps into my skin I realized I could no longer survive such terrible, cold, cold conditions."

Placing a hand onto her forehead, she feigned fainting. The two kakushi stared at the sight before them then looked at eachother.

"Yes, this is what I deal with..." sighing, he watched as the girl's shoulders shook. A small giggle leaving her lips. The boy blushed, thankful for the mask covering the bottom half of his face he smiles. 'I made her giggle!' A warm feeling enveloped his body as her laugh played itself over and over in his head.

It was a gentle and quiet laugh, but it sounded so cute to him. Was it because he was falling for her? Who was he kidding, he's already fallen. He has yet to confess his feelings, though he doesn't know if he has the courage to do so.

The crow that sat on his shoulder cawed and placed a wing on his forehead.

'Young love, always so complicated...caw!'
