(Name) looked in her mirror as she fixed her brand new uniform. Sanemi had it tailored to look exactly like his, except for the open chest of course. She had the same white belts on her calves as well that wrapped around and stopped at her ankle. Her socks were a deep black with an undertone of green, her pants and top matched as well.
The sleeves of her top went all the way down like a normal button down shirt and underneath she wore a white button down as well. Over her outfit she wore the haori she'd found in one of the boxes she'd previously found at her old house.
Doing a small spin, she watched the fabric flow softly with her movements and a smile came to her face.
She was finally getting somewhere.

"Utsukushī, how much longer?" (Name) asked for what seemed like the hundredth time. She had set out Thursday, it was now Wednesday of the next week and she doesn't think she has enough money to stay another night at a hotel in a nearby village. Only bringing so much money, not thinking the trip would be long, she quickly found out it was a bad decision when she was three days in and already struggling to find a place cheap enough for one night as well as have enough for food the following days.
"Just up ahead, caw!"
The sense of relief filled her body as her eyes focused on the village coming into view. The closer she got, the more lively it began to sound. Finally, at its first few houses, she began to walk the dirt roads.
(Name) looked around and observed the atmosphere, it was one of happiness and peace. People walked to and fro, some carrying bags, some holding their children, some holding food, everyone seemed to have a destination as she passed through the crowd of happy village folk. However, this chain of content people was quick to stop at one specific person.
It was a old woman, she seemed to be in her late 70s and was very short and frail. The only thing that seemed to keep her steady was the cane in her right hand, her face was one of distraught. She seemed lost. Her eyes displaying confusion and fear, they held a distant look as well. Dull and flame slowly smothering, as if she'd lost someone important.
Not wanting to leave the stressed looking woman in the middle of the village confused, scared, and alone, (Name) approached quickly.
"Ah, Miss are you alright?" (Name) asked with concern.
The elder woman blinked, as if snapped out of a trance or something and moved her head around searching for the owner of the voice, that's when her eyes landed on (name).
"Where..?" She mumbled quietly.
(Name) frowned and gently took the older woman's hand into her own. "You're in Nakutami Village Miss. Is there anything I can help with?"
"Y..yes..my husband...my husband he...he.. I don't know but...he's gone.. he did something weird..." she trailed, voice weak and shaky.
'I think it's best she sits down somewhere first.'
Looking up and around, (Name) spotted a nearby restaurant where one can dine in and informed the elder woman of her intentions. After a slow but comforting walk, they had settled themselves at a table.
"Is there anything I can get you two?" A worker asked as he gave a slight bow to the two.
(Name) looked up at him and smiled, "Ah uhm...could we have two plates of tempura?"
