The snow fell slowly from the sky, landing softly on anything it touches. The large piles of snow crunched beneath the feet of three individuals as they walked the snow covered path. 

"It's completely ruined..." (Name), one of the three said as she gazed at her village ruins with sorrow filled eyes. Kuina Ubuyashiki, one of Amane's quintuplets, looked at (Name) then back to the ruins.

"Do you think you're able to find your shop out of all the broken buildings?" She asked, looking around.

(Name) hummed, " hmm...It should be overrrrr" Running ahead Kuina and Kanata, she kept running until her feet suddenly hit something hard. Coming to a stop, she looked down and saw something wooden sticking out of the snow.

"Did you find your house?!" Kanata yelled from where she stood. She had wondered off to someone else's house because she heard the sound of something struggling underneath the wood. 'An animal maybe?'

(Name) yelled back a no and crouched down. Moving the snow to the side, she picked up a familiar cane. Wiping the remaining snow from  the well crafted cane, she looked at the carvings around the hand area.

"Dad..." The sadness she felt sinking in began to fade as it boiled into anger. Gripping the cane with immense force, she pursed her lips. "That damn demon."

She remembers it's hideous face so clearly. He wasn't an upper moon nor a lower moon, but he was far more powerful than any regular demon you'd find.

She could only guess he was working his way up to becoming a lowermoon, but she was going to kill him before he completed that goal. "Hmp, or maybe I'd let him become one and kill him soon after. That'll feel shitty."

Thinking of seeing his vibrant red and purple eyes lose the life in them as disappointment and rage fills them made her smile.

"He's gonna fucking hate me, I'm gonna make him regret killing my family." Standing up, she took a quick look around and noticed all the bodies were gone.

'Demons must have cleaned em out.' Looking back at her property, she walked onto the remains of her house and shop. "Kuina-chan, can you give me a hand please?!" Said girl ran over quickly.

"What did you find...your father's cane?" Her eyes lowered and she looked at (Name)'s face. The teen gave the child a smile. "Dont be sad, he's off in a better place now. All we can do is hope for a better future. Now, help me life this up, If I remember correctly this was where my parents room is and they held everything from our ancestors in this area." Kuina nodded and grabbed one end of the fallen wooden wall. (Name) grabbed the other, "on three we pull. One, two, three!" The two let out groans as they struggled to pull the wall from the ground. Unable to lift it high enough, the two dropped it from fatigue.

"Wooo, that's heavy!" (Name) placed her hands onto her knees and tried to catch her breath. Kuina did the same. Kanata came over after seeing the two struggle, deciding to come back to the mysterious noise later.

"You know snow adds weight right? You should have cleared as much snow first then try to lift the wall." She stated with a smile while pointing at the snow covering the building.

(Name) stared at Kanata.

"...I knew that!" 

The two children began to laugh at the teen. "I-i don't understand why you're laughing Kuina, you tried to raise it too!"
