Chapter 2 - There's A New Boy Coming

I hopped off the passenger's seat as soon as Taylor parked the car in front of the school and began walking towards the school entrance.

Taylor got out after me and followed behind me, also making sure that her car is locked and secured.

When I entered the school, the hallways were crowded with people.

As always...

I looked back to try and find Taylor, but when I couldn't find her, I began pushing my way through the crowd of people.

"Excuse me"

"I'm Sorry"

"I didn't mean to step on your toes"

These were the phrases I had to keep repeating everytime I stepped on someone's toes, or bumped into them.

I walked into my hallway, which was the junior hallway, and I'm happy to find it not as crowded as it was in the main hallway.

I walked over to my locker and put on the passcode.

"15 18 28 12" I whispered the passcode to myself while turning the padlock to the numbers

"Where were you?!" A high pitched voice exclaimed

I flinched at the higness of the voice and jumped back a little.

I turned my head to the left to see Taylor breathing heavily.

"I couldn't find you so I kept walking" I said and shrugged while opening my locker

"Well, you should've wait for me! I was in the girls restroom" She said with a scowl as she leaned against the locker that's next to mine

"Aha, no thank you. I don't want to die in a sea full of people" I over dramatically said while getting out my math, social studies, and science textbooks

"Stop being so over dramatic" Taylor said rolling her eyes

"Oh stop whining best friend, it's Thursday!" I said, mimicking the phrase she had said in the car when we were driving to school

A few seconds later, the bell rang, warning us that it was time to go to homeroom.

I sighed. "Alright Tay, see you in 2nd period" I said

"Aka, hell" Taylor and I both said at the same time with our nose scrunched up in disgust

As you can tell, we don't like our 2nd period class. 2nd period is science. And I know a lot of people think that science is fun, but in my class, science is the most boringest class ever!

Trust me, my whole 2nd period class had to go to detention for a whole week because we all fell asleep while Ms. Doppleganger was talking something about the sun.

Believe it or not, even the smartest kid in that class fell asleep.

I got cut off of my thoughts when I heard Taylor repeating my name over and over again, while waving her hand in front of my face.

"Caaaarrrriieee" Taylor sang

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Taylor.

"Yeah?" I asked confused

"You were staring at the empty hallway for like a minute, and the warning bell is about to ring" Taylor said

My eyes widened. "Oh shit! I gotta go! If I'm tardy one more time, that counts as 1 absent. See ya later Tay! Love ya" I exclaimed as I began running towards my homeroom class

When I reached it, I was happy that I made it 5 seconds before the warning bell was going to ring.

"Ahh, Ms. Jones, I'm impressed you got to class early.. You almost got an absent" My homeroom / 1st period teacher, Mrs. Clark said while typing down on the keyboard of her computer

I sighed and nodded. "I know Mrs. Clark" I said

- Skip to lunch -

"Thank you" I told the lunch ladies nicely while taking my tray and walking around the crowded cafeteria to find Taylor

I looked to the left of the cafeteria in the corner, and find Taylor motioning for me to come.

I smiled a little and walked towards her table.

Once I reached it, I sat down and began to open my orange juice since I was thirsty.

"Omg Carrie! Did you hear?!" Taylor exclaimed excitedly

In case you didn't know, Taylor is the type of girl who believes in gossip sometimes.

"What again?" I asked bored, not caring what kind of gossip she heard

"There's a new boy coming to school next week Monday! They say he's hot" Taylor said while sighing dreamily

I rolled my eyes. "Let me remind you again Taylor.... I DON'T CARE" I said loud enough for the whole cafeteria to hear

Taylor crossed her arms grumpily with a scowl on her face, acting like a child.

"Grow up" I said as I threw a french fry at her scowled face

We both chuckled and continued to eat our lunch, changing to a different subject to talk about..

Hey loves! So I have entered the Watty's 2015 for this book, and I wanna try and complete this book before the offcial date for the Watty's 2015 end, so that means I have to be really active.

Oh and don't mind the science teacher's name: Ms. Doppleganger. I got the idea from the vampire diaries, lol.
