Chapter 10 - Take Chances

"Where are we going exactly?" I asked Cameron as we walked around the school's parking lot to search for his ride

"Just wait and see" He looked back at me and smirked

I rolled my eyes. "Where did you park? We've been walking around the parking lot for about 7 minutes. And the school's parking lot isn't even that big" I said

"Right here kitten" Cameron said and stopped walking

I stopped and my eyes widened.

"No" I said simply

"What do you mean no? This is our only transportation right now" Cameron said

"It's a freaking motorcycle. I don't ride motorcycles. Do you even know how to work this thing?" I asked with a brow raised

Cameron chuckled. "Of course I know how to drive this. If I didn't, do you really think I would buy it?" He asked

I sighed and closed my eyes for a bit.

"Come on Carrie, you'll be fine. Trust me" I opened my eyes and saw him walking towards his motorcyle

He hopped on the front seat of the motorcycle and sat there waiting for me.

I looked at him and sighed.

"Okay" I said and got onto the seat in back of Cameron

"Here" Cameron said while handing me a helmet

"How about you?" I asked

"I'll be fine. It's just you that I'll be worried about" He said and gave me a little smile

"But Ca-" Before I could finish what I was saying, he cut me off

"No buts, put on the helmet so we could get going" He said

I sighed and placed the helmet on my head, and buckled the strap.

I wrapped my arms around Cameron's waist, while he turned the engine on and began to drive.

(Idk anything about motorcycles 😂)

"Where are we?" I asked Cameron as I took off the helmet from my head

"Chino Lake" Cameron said as he got off the motorcyle, and helped me get off the motorcyle by lifting me up.

(I didn't know what to name the lake, so I thought about where Cam was born, which is in Chino Hills, CA 😂 And idek if Chino Lake is an actual lake lol)

"What are we doing at Chino Lake? I heard no one goes here " I said as we began walking

"Yeah.. No one goes here anymore. But I still do. It's really beautiful here. And calm" He said while looking at me

"No Cameron" I said sternly as I glared at him

"Come on Carrie! It's just getting a little wet, and jumping a few feet down" Cameron said as if it wasn't a big deal

"Cameron, we're jumping off a cliff, which is probably above 1,000 feet tall, and into a lake" I said

"This is your first time skipping. Don't make it a bum" Cameron said while frowing a little

I sighed. "Why did I even agree to skip class with you?" I asked and groaned

"You gotta learn how to take chances" Cameron said

"I had a chance to choose if I didn't want to go with you" I said

"But you took the chance to come with me.. Trust me kitten, if you do as I say. You'll have fun. Don't let your fear take over you" Cameron said

I looked at the cliff that Cameron wanted us to jump off from and thought about it...

"I don't have extra clothes" I said while looking down the cliff

Yes, I thought about it, and I actually went along with it.

"I have extra clothes" Cameron said

"I don't have any swimwear" I said

"Neither do I. But I'm not letting that stop me. Jump in only your bra and panty if you have to" Cameron said as he took off his shirt, and his jeans.

I looked away and began to remove my shirt, and my pants.

I turned around and looked at Cameron.

"Let's do this" I said confidently as I walked towards him
