- The next day -

"Cameron, I am not skipping another day with you. If you want to go somewhere which is not in school, you're just gonna have to wait 'till the end of the day, because there is NO WAY IN HECK am I going to risk getting in trouble... Again." I say as I slammed my locker close.

I turned my body to face him, and leaned on my side onto the locker.

Cameron had a pout on his face. Clearly trying to have me change my mind about skipping with him again.

"Nothing is going to change my mind this time Dallas.." I say and chuckled

Cameron groaned. "Ugh! Fine. But you promised me after school." He says and raises his pinky finger up.

I raised a brow at him. "What the heck are you doing?" I asked pointing at his pinky.

"You have to pinky promise me." He says in a serious tone, still holding up his pinky.

I rolled ny eyes and let out a small laugh.

"I'm surprised to see someone like you still believing in pinky promises, and using it as a signal of trust." I say.

Cameron put his hand on his chest and opened his mouth as if he just got offended.

"How rude Carrie Marie Jones! I believe you have to apologize to me." He says crossing his arms like a 5 year old.

Then all of a sudden the bell rings, signaling that it was time to head to homeroom.

I laughed. "And I believe that we have to head to class before we both get in trouble." I say and was about to walk away from him, but he pulled me by my waist and held me close to him.

"That wasn't very nice kitten" He whispers

I gulped and looked deeply into his eyes.

I must admit... The way he's holding me, and the sound of his voice is making me nervous.. Yet it feels so right..

I shook my head and pushed him away.

"That wasn't very nice as well, Dallas. Pulling me like that out of no where.. I believe you owe me an apology this time." I say crossing my arms

"I believe you liked it when I held you like that though." He says with a cocky smirk plastered onto his face.

The second bell rang, and Cameron gave me a quick kiss on my cheek before walking away.

Leaving me speechless..
