Chapter 3 - Mall

"Mom! I'm going out to the mall to buy a few clothes!" I yelled as I made my way downstairs

"Alright! Be home by 5, and stay safe!" My mom yelled back

I walked out the door, and made sure to lock the door before I left.

Since I didn't have a car yet, I decided to walk since the mall wasn't that far from my house.

- 25 minutes later -

I walked through the entrance of the mall and quickly went inside Forever 21.

Once I got in the store, I was greeted by one of the employee's that works here.

"Good evening" A boy said nicely while flashing me a smile, and a wink

I rolled my eyes at him.

Not again. I thought to myself.

I was used to boys having crushes on me, and trying to flirt with me. But sometimes when they flirt with me, it gets annoying.

I walked around the store, looking for some shorts, jeans, and cardigans.

I saw a cute white high waisted short, so I got that and made my way to the denim jeans area.

When I reached the denim area, I got 2 pairs of black jeans, and 2 pairs of white jeans.

I searched for some cardigans and ended up getting a floral cardigan, a black and white tribal pattern cardigan, a basic light pink cardigan, and a white cardigan.

I walked towards the cash register with all the clothes hanging around my arms.

When I reached the register, I placed all the clothes on top of the cash register table.

When I looked up, it was the guy who tried flirting with me.

"Oh crap" I mumbled to myself while looking down for a little while

I looked back up and smiled slightly to the guy, and he smiled back.

"Hello, I'm Jackson.. And you are?" He asked while scanning the prices of the clothes

"Not telling you my name" I said bored

"Okay.. You're feisty.. I like that" He said while winking at me

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, I'm just here to buy a few clothes alright? So can you please just stop... Talking, and hurry up" I said as nicely as I could

The boy chuckled and looked at me. "You're really pretty though" He said while grinning at me nicely

I looked down and blushed.

I'm not used to getting compliments by cute guys, and this guy was pretty cute.

"Thanks..." I said nicely

"You're welcome" He replied with the same grin

"Here you go.. Your total will be $58.65" He said

I went through my wallet and handed him $60.00

He took the money and handed me back my change.

"Thanks for coming! I hope I see you again" He yelled before I exited the store

I shrugged my shoulders and walked towards starbucks.

I walked in and waited in line to order.

"Next!" The employee behind the cash register yelled

I looked up from my phone and began walking towards it.

"Welcome to starbucks, what would you like to get?" The employee asked

"I'd like a Green Tea Frappucino" I told her

She nodded and then told me the price of the drink, and I payed.

After paying, I went to an empty seat and waited for my order.

After a few minutes, one of the employee's called out my order, and I stood up to get it.

I sipped my frapp and began walking home.
