Chapter 5

Time Skip - 7 Years Later
(They just got in an academy)

Noah's POV

Today was the first day of my dream academy. I always wanted to go to Crescendo Music Academy. I always wanted to become a singer since I was a kid.

To my luck, Jessie also enrolled in the same academy as me. She was really interested in dancing since a long time and she also found a new hobby, writing songs and producing music, for almost a year now.

I was currently walking towards the academy. I entered the academy and saw Jessie, Jessica, Olivia and a girl that I don't know.

They seemed to be waiting for someone. "Jessie!" I shouted. She turned to me and smiled widely. She waved and motioned me to come over where she is.

"Hi!" she exclaimed. "Hi." I said. "Ready for the first day of the academy?" I asked. "Yeah, I guess. Kinda nervous. You know how I feel near new people." she answered. I nodded, knowing that she doesn't like talking to new people.

I stared at the unknown girl beside her. She seemed to notice that. She tapped the other girl and whispered something to her. Jessie turned to me and said, "This is Luna. One of my childhood friends."

"I'm Noah." I smiled and said. "Yeah, I know. Jessie talked a lot about you." she said. Jessie hit her on her arm while blushing.

Luna smiled widely. We shook hands and she gave Jessie a look which I couldn't understand.

I greeted Jessica and Olivia. "Are you all waiting for someone?" I asked. "Yeah. We are waiting for my sister and her soon to be girlfriend." Olivia answered.

Everyone started laughing while I stood here confused. I stared at Jessie laughing beside me. She looked so beautiful while laughing. I felt butterflies in my stomach. We made a eye contact.

"You know Emma, Olivia's sister." Jessie said and I nodded. "You see that Emma and her best friend, Scarlett are always clinging on to each other. They are almost inseparable. That's why we think, they could start dating soon or are already dating." she explained.

After few minutes, the said girls came looking all flustered. One of the girls who I guess is Scarlett was a blushing mess. While the other one had a proud smile.

I saw everyone expect Emma and Scarlett, give each other a look. I greeted and introduced myself to the new comers. They too introduced themselves to me.

We started walking towards the auditorium. I saw Jessie's shoe laces were untied. I suddenly thought of a nice pick up line.

"Can I tie your shoe laces?" I said with a smirk. She gave me a confused look. "Cause I don't want you falling for anyone else than me." I completed. She just blushed and started walking faster. I chuckled at her cute behavior.

'Gosh! Jessie! If you don't stop being so cute. I might die one day. At first I thought I had had a small crush on you. Now I think I am falling in love.'

Jessie's POV

It was my first day of Crescendo Music Academy. I was very nervous. Thankfully, Jessica, Luna, Olivia, Emma and Scarlett are enrolled in the same academy.

I don't know when, I started loving to produce songs. But now it's my passion. So is dancing.

Scarlett moved in the house next to me for almost 4 years ago. She was really shy at first but as she started hanging out with us, she got to our chaotic environment.

Emma and Scarlett started off really awkward at first. But as the time went by they became fond of each other. Now they are almost inseparable. They look really adorable together.

In all honesty, I like Scarlett more than Olivia. Don't get me wrong but I can't help but feel uneasy with Olivia when I am alone.

She always gives a glare to everyone who is clingy towards me or when I get clingy towards them.

Whenever I am alone with Olivia, she becomes very touchy with me. But not enough to make uncomfortable.

I already told Luna about this and she agreed with me saying that she too noticed it. But we didn't think much about it. I also told Scarlett about the same thing about a year ago. She told me that did feel someone piercing holes through her.

During this 4 years of time with Scarlett. I got to know more about her and we grew really close. The group even teases Scarlett as my mother and me as her daughter. Because she gives such a motherly energy.

I even told her about my so called crush, even though it's obviously more than a crush, on my bestie from my school.

Talking about my feelings for Noah. Me and Noah are going to the same academy. I'm so happy about it.

“In the whether report, they said that it might rain today.” Luna said. “Really! But I didn't bring my umbrella today.” I said. “It's okay. I am sure that Noah is going to bring a umbrella and you can share it like a couple.” she said. I rolled my eyes at her statement.

“I just remembered that you and Noah met for the first time in rainy season, right?” she asked. I nodded.

“Wait…. Did you two first met in June?” I nodded once again. “Do you remember the date?”

“How the freak do you think that I would remember the date. I just remember that we met in 5th grade.” I said. “So it means you two have been best friends for 10 years. Your 10th year started this month.” she exclaimed a bit too loudly for my liking.

I hit her shoulder and said, “Be quiet. You are too lou-” I was cut off by someone screaming “Jessie!”.

I looked behind and saw Noah there. I smiled and waved towards her. I motioned her to come near me. We did some causal conversation. She stared at Luna and I realized that I haven't introduced Luna to her.

I tapped Luna and whispered to her “Bitch! That's Noah. Don't act weird.”

'Gosh! This sure is going to be a long ride. I hope Noah and everyone gets along.'
