Chapter 9

Jessie's POV
(The day she left her house.)

Luna moved her hand forward asking for my hand. We held hands. “Let's go. My parents are not home. We can do a movie night. After cleaning your wounds of course.” she said, even though I could see she felt bad.

We walked towards her house. I was limping. I had my right hand around her neck and she had her left hand around my waist. She was holding my bag in her right hand.

Thankfully, she didn't ask me what happened. We talked normally till we reached her house.

She pulled out her keys and opened the door. We removed our shoes. We made our way to the living room. She helped me sit down. “I'm going to get the first aid kit, stay here okay.” she said. I nodded.

She came back with first aid kit. She sat down besides me and started cleaning my wounds. When she was done, we just there in silent not knowing what to do or say.

“We should not go to the academy tomorrow.” she said. “Why?” I questioned. “I think you should rest for a few days. Then we can go to the academy.” she answered.

“Wait.. What do you mean by ‘we’?” I asked. “I ain't leaving you alone.” she said. “What about our schedules? We are about to get it tomorrow.” I said.

“Don't worry. I will just tell someone to bring it to us.” she calmly said. I nodded. We talked for a few minutes.

After a while, we decided to just go to sleep. I went to the guest room and did my routine. I layed on the bed. I still can't believe the things that happened today.

I probably need a while to get used to it. Soon I started drifting into sleep.

Time Skip - Next Morning

I woke up around 9 in the morning. Honestly I wasn't able to sleep last night. I went to the kitchen.

There, Luna was sitting on the dining table. She was using her phone. “Good morning.” I said. “Morning. Are you feeling better now?” she said. “Yeah.” I replied.

“I have some left overs, we should eat it.” she said. I nodded. We were eating our breakfast when a call interrupted us. It was Noah.

“Can you please pick up the call for me, I don't think I would be able to talk to her.” I said. She nodded. She kept the phone on speaker. They both talked and soon they ended the call.

Noah doesn't seems to be worried. Would she be worried cause I am not there today. I don't know, only she knows.

We finished our breakfast when a again a call came. This time, it was Jessica. I decided pick it up myself because she would probably already know what's up.

“Hello.” I said. “Hello! How are you? Where are you? What exactly happened?!” she almost screamed without any breaks. “Calm down. I'm fine now… I guess. I'm at Luna's place and as to what happened, I think you should come here.” I said.

“Ok! I'm coming over now and you have tell me what happened.” she said in a hurry. “Wait, wait. I think you should first calm down and come over tomorrow. We both need some time.” I said.

“Ok. But I am coming tomorrow.” she said. Then we ended the call. “Jessica's coming over tomorrow.” I told Luna. She nodded.

After that, we spent the whole day watching dramas and movies. We ordered delivery for lunch. We ordered a lot of food. So we left overs that we ate for dinner.

I didn't even realize when the day ended. It was now something about 11. We just finished watching a movie and decided to go to sleep now.

Time Skip - Next Day

Today too we decided to not go. Because… well we were lazy. We went to the nearby cafe and sat there for about one hour.

We talked there about choreographies we want to learn, recent random things we learned, etc, simply anything we could do to convert my mind from my family.

We decided to go to the park. I was limping because I still couldn't walk properly. On our way there, someone called us. It was Noah. We looked at each other for a while and I slightly nodded.

Luna called Noah towards us. We talked for a few minutes and bid our goodbyes. (Because I am too lazy to the whole conversation.)

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I'm going to share a dorm with Noah. Goodness!

We sat on a beach in the park and the whole time Luna was teasing me. Everything I thought about living with her, my stomach filled with butterflies.

After about half an hour, we went back home. We were just laying on the couch and I was about to fall asleep when the bell rang.

Luna went to open the door. It was Jessica, she looked worried. She came running towards me and hugged me. She checked my face. “Are these hurting?” she asked referring to the bruises on my face.

“Not much.” I said. “Did you go to doctor?” she asked. “No. We didn't, the wounds are not that deep. They'll heal in some time.” I said and she nodded.

“And how did this all happen?” she asked. I told her everything that happened that night. She looked really sad hearing it. Suddenly the atmosphere became heavy.

Noticing the heavy atmosphere, Luna changed the topic “Anyways, did you bring our schedules?” she said to Jessica. “Oh. Yes, I did.” Jessica replied. She gave us our schedules.

“Now what we do?” I asked. “I don't know.” Luna said. “We should play board games.” Jessica said. “Sure,” Luna said “Let me bring them.”

That's how we spent this day. Jessica just left. So it was only me and Luna again. Out of nowhere, she asks “Are you okay?”. I was stunned by the question. “Yes, I am. Of course." I said.

“Look I know this is all new to you and that you have stay strong. But are you sure? Is there anything I could help with?” she said.

I don't what happened but I started crying hard. All emotions I was trying to suppress were finally out. I told her all the things that I felt and wanted to tell someone.

They were all finally out.
