Chapter 6

Jessie's POV

After reaching auditorium, we all took our seats. I sat next to Luna and beside me sat Noah. We were chatting for a few minutes but we were interrupted by a voice.

It was a lady dressed in a black blazer. She had long hair that almost reached her waist. She looked a 20-25 years old. "Sorry to interrupt all of you but we have a program to start." she said with smile.

"My name is Karina. I'm the vice principal of this school and I'm also the mc of most the events that happened here." she said.

Then a man came on the stage. "Everyone this is the principal of this academy." Karina said and handed the mic over to the man.

"Good morning everyone!" exclaimed a man who looks like is in his 50s. He had a large smile on his face. He was wearing a dark blue blazer with a white shirt and a dark blue tie. He was wearing rectangular glasses. He was a little too energetic for his age if I say, but who am I to judge.

"Hello, my name is William Choi. You can call me Mr. Choi or only William is also okay. I'm the principal of this academy." He said.

'Wow! He seems like a pretty chill guy. That's the first time any principal has told me to call him from his name.'

Mr. Cho- William chuckled, "You all seem to be shocked and nervous. Is it because of my face?" he asked. There were some 'no'. "Okay then moving on, it seems like there are a lot of students this year."

Time Skip (because I am too lazy to write)

It was all most 1 and a half hour since William started his speech. But for some reason, his speech was not boring. Maybe it's because he always cracked a joke in between.

“Gosh! Look at the time, I have been talking for almost 1 and a half hours. So, I think I'm gonna wrap up now. One last thing, your classes will start from next week.” William said.

He passed the mic to Karina to end the program. She said some ending words and we were free to go.

We all went outside. We were kept walking while chit chatting till we reached the garden.

We all separated from there to explore the campus. Noah and Jessica went together to wander around. Emma and Olivia also went together to see the dance room. Leaving only me, Luna and Scarlett.

We started walking around the garden while talking about random things. We walked for a good 20 minutes. Till Scarlett suggested to sit down for a while.

We silent for a few moments. Luna asked, breaking the silence, “How is it going with Emma?” with a teasing smile.

“I just remembered, why did you and Emma take so long to come?” I said. “N-nothing. Wh-what are you t-talking about?” Scarlett stuttered.

Luna and I made a eye contact and gave each other a knowing look. “You are so obvious. Now! Spill the tea.” I said.

“Me and Emma kissed.” Scarlett said. “WHAT!” me and Luna screamed at the same time. “We kissed by accident,” Scarlett continued “We were shocked and we pulled away. We stared at each other for a few moments. Then, we kissed again.” Scarlett was a blushing mess.

“So… After that, you both made out?” Luna asked. “NO! We didn't.” Scarlett blurted out.

“Okay, okay. But you kissed! Congratulations your first kiss was with your crush.” Luna exclaimed loudly. We both claped while cheering for Scarlett.

“But on a serious note, did she ask you to be her girlfriend?” I asked. “No, she didn't.” she said sadly. “It's okay. I'm sure she will ask you that soon.” I said assuring her.

“Anyways! How is it going with Noah?” Luna asked with the same teasing smile that she gave Scarlett a while ago.

“It's going good. Just before reaching the auditorium she said another pick up line.” I replied. “Gosh! This girl never runs out of pick up lines.” Scarlett said with a playful eyeroll.

“Tell us the details!” Luna said excitedly. I told them about the pick up line that Noah used, we also talked about the principal and the vice principal. “Jessie, have you come out to your parents?” Scarlett asked.

There was dead silence for a few moments. I opened my mouth to speak but closed it, as if words were not forming in my mouth.

“I'm sorry, I didn't want t-” Scarlett was cut off by “No. I haven't told them….yet.” from me.

“Have you thought of coming out to your parents?” Luna asked. “To be honest, no. I haven't even thought of coming out to my sister.” I answered.

“Do you think they will support you? Because I am sure that Jessica will support you.” Scarlett said. “Actually, I don't know….. I don't know if they will support you me.” I replied.

Honestly, I already knew their reply. Whenever I tried to talk to them about this topic, they would always try to change the subject or get mad. I'm scared of coming out to them because I already know how they will react.

Time Skip - They are going home now
Narrator's POV

Jessie, Luna, Scarlett, Emma, Jessica and Olivia are on the way to their house. Jessica and Olivia were walking in the front. Scarlett and Emma in the middle. While, Jessie and Luna were walking behind them.

“Luna?” Jessie said. Luna nodded and said “What happened?”. “I'm going to come out to my parents today. But if anything goes wrong, can I stay at your place?” Jessie. said.

“Of course, just call me and I'll come to pick you up.” Luna countiuned “But let's hope nothing goes wrong.” she ended. “Yeah.” Jessie replied.

Little did the girls know that the things were not going to go as they planned. Sometimes you have to go through worse for your own greater good.
