Part 12

The next day Dan woke up and felt like shit. He completely forgot what happened, the only thought was Jaekyung's disrespect before he went to the bar... Then nothing.

He was alone in the room, seemed like Jaekyung was out.

He rolled across the bed, with no intention of getting up. But it was late. The rain finally stopped. They had to go.

Dan sat, watching the sea in the distance. Before leaving the place he had just one little wish.

He got up and reluctantly wrote a little note to Jaekyung.

"I'll be back soon, my things are already packed".

Then took his grey hoodie and left the room.

Since they first arrived there, he was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the sea. So even if he had to walk a bit, he found it pleasing.

The more he was near the sea the more he felt good.

The sea had a curative effect on him, Dan felt like the waves could wash away every fear, every thought like he could finally breathe again.

He laughed as the breeze gently swept his hair.

Once he got to the seaside he sat and carefully played with some cute little crabs.

A beautiful tiny little flowers.

That's what he seems.

Jaekyung shook his head at that awkward thought.

Since when did he become such a softy!?

When he first returned to the room and couldn't find Dan he thought that the boy left. Then he found the note.

He asked the reception and they suggested checking the not-so-distant seaside.

There he was.

"...are you ready to go?"

Dan jolted upon hearing Jaekyung's voice.

"... How?" he wanted to ask, but soon got up and reached him.

"So...you like the sea?" Jaekyung asked, adjusting his glasses.

Dan shrugged.

"Who doesn't like the sea?"

"right."

Silence.

"I believe you...that you and Heesung are... nothing."

"It's not your problem... Anymore." a cold reply from Dan.

Jaekyung took the hit. And that never happened. What the hell was happening to him!?! Why he couldn't answer? His mind was blank, he could only find himself nodding.

"Shall we go?"

"Okay".

The two left the place, finally ready to meet the professor.
