Ex's & Oh's
"I never really stood a chance, did I?" Harry screamed as tears pooled down his face and onto his neck, eventually wetting his shirt, his voice was strangled and choked as he let himself fall onto the bedroom floor.
Draco's expression gentled but the hard glint still remained. "You never have time for me, Harry, at least not anymore. You work until you drop and then you come home and you work some more and...I'm proud of you but this is no way to maintain a stable relationship."
"We're growing apart...aren't we?" He sniffled, still on his knees before the other man. Draco gave a bittersweet smile as he grabbed onto his hands and helped him up, holding him close into a hug. Harry tried to fight the warmth, the comfort that the other man provided but he soon gave up, relishing it. When he finally pulled away, he stared at a spot on the wall before speaking, "You never answered my question, Draco. I never stood a chance, did I?"
Draco sighed as he shook his head. "The sad part is— you did once." He turned to leave, hand on the door before he stopped, turning around, "Take care of yourself, my love, maybe we can one day regain what we lost."
Harry's ear-splitting, desperate yells that resembled tortured shrieks would forever haunt Draco.
Note - This will be my last drarry one shot as I have decided that I want to start a book on these two wonderful characters! Leave ideas down below for possible plots!
