Bathroom
Draco felt the tears pouring, running down his neck and slipping onto his chest, wetting his shirt for the hundredth time. He let the echoes of his sobs drown out his hearing, impairing it as he slid down onto the floor.
He had done it. He had done the one thing that he had promised himself he would not do. He had let Lucius and V..Voldemort give him the insufferable mark, the dark mark.
He had been a coward, he knew, he should've run. He should've said no and taken his mother far away from this hellhole, taken his sorry self out of the country.
His head perked up as he heard somebody call his name but his vision was way too blurry to make them out. He heard a timid, almost terrified voice. "M-Malfoy?" Their footsteps sped up. "Malfoy! Oh god, are you okay?"
In his haze, he shook his head, still not registering who it was. "Who..who are you? I-I can't..see.."
"It's me, Harry," He seemed to be debating with himself on what to do, it was clear in his voice.
"Potter?" Draco paused. "If you tell anybody about this," He threatened as he wiped at his tears and snot, "then my father will hear about it."
"Malfoy." He felt warm arms wrap around him, making him stiffen. The only times that him and Harry had ever been this close was to fight or threaten. "I have them too..the panic attacks, anxiety attacks, name them and I got it. Please just let me stay with you until I make sure you're okay."
The blonde felt the tears brimming again as he gave a watery smile. "Gryffindor and their stupid chivalry," He snorted.
Once he had determined that Potter was about to leave, he kept an arm on the robes of his captor. "Can you please just...hold me? For a little bit?"
That was the first time Harry found himself falling for a broken Malfoy as he held on tight for what seemed to be hours, murmuring reassurances on the bathroom floor. He never got told what was wrong that day but he didn't care, he had finally seen what the real Malfoy was like and he diagnosed himself as insufficient in Draco Malfoy.
