The room was thick with tension as Jarad prepared to reveal the shocking truth. Jayden, Alex, and Fike sat in stunned silence, their eyes fixed on the elder man. Jarad took a deep breath, his gaze lingering on Jayden's anguished face.

"The thing is..." he began, his voice barely above a whisper, "the elite scouting corp working for the Imperials recently picked up the aura signatures of the Ember Legion."

A collective gasp echoed through the room. Jayden's eyes widened in disbelief, his mind struggling to comprehend the impossible.

"What?" he exclaimed, his voice trembling with emotion. "That's impossible!"

Jarad met Jayden's gaze, his expression unwavering. "I thought so too, Jayden," he said, his voice laced with gravity, "but I verified the analysis myself. And there's more. The aura signatures were picked up from Nebula, the place where you and your team have been living for the past eighteen years."

Jayden shook his head vehemently, his denial echoing through the room. "No, that's impossible," he insisted. "Nebula is a small place. I know every corner of it. I would have known if they were there."

Jarad nodded understandingly, acknowledging Jayden's unwavering belief in his sanctuary. "That's exactly what I thought," he said, his voice laced with a hint of mystery. "But there's something else you need to know before we can fully understand this."

He paused, letting the tension build before revealing the next piece of the puzzle.

His eyes narrowing as he recalled the events that had led to this moment. "Do you remember the day Alex accidentally used the Veil of Shadows?" he asked, his voice laced with significance.

Jayden nodded, his mind replaying the incident that had caused such chaos.

"That was the same day the Imperials picked up the aura signatures of the Ember Legion," Jarad continued, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "And on top of that, there were no dead bodies found from the Ember Legion after the moonlit massacre."

Jayden's mind reeled, struggling to process the implications of Jarad's words. "Dad, you're just freaking me out," he said, his voice trembling with shock. "Everything you've said is one hundred percent possible, but I don't understand how. It's just so unreal."

As the tension in the room reached a fever pitch, a woman in a lab coat, Sabrina, burst into the room, her face etched with urgency.

"Master Jarad," she panted, her voice barely a whisper, "I'm very sorry to interrupt your meeting, but there's something very, very important that you have to address right now."

Jarad's eyes narrowed, his instincts on high alert. "What is it, Sabrina?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Sabrina took a deep breath, her chest heaving as she delivered the shocking news. "Master," she said, her voice trembling with fear, "we're now detecting the aura signatures of the members of the Nightshade Clan and the ShadowHart Clan too."

A stunned silence fell over the room. Jayden's eyes widened in disbelief, his mind struggling to comprehend the impossible. He sank to his knees, his gaze fixed on Jarad, seeking answers in the elder man's troubled eyes.

Jarad, equally stunned by the revelation, could only manage to offer a shared expression of bewilderment. "I'm in the same state as you, son," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

The room hung heavy with suspense as the weight of the unexpected revelation settled upon them. The truth, once hidden and elusive, was now laid bare, its implications too vast to fully grasp.
