It was finally the day to go home. My mom, Logan and James we're going to be the ones picking me up. currently I was sitting on the edge of the bed. dresses in some black leggings, a burgundy colored shirt with a white infinity scarf and some black flats, well just on one foot since I had a cast in the other. My bags where all packed and all I was waiting for was for my mom and the guys.
After the kiss James and I shared, things changed. But in a good way. I guess you could say we weren't officially dating because the question hadn't been asked but there were a few times where James and I shared kisses and well we had also been flirting.

A few minutes later I see James coming in the room.

"Hey beautiful" he says and comes up to me giving me a kiss on the lips.

"Hey handsome. Where's my mom and Logan?"

Oh they're just picking up some papers. he sits next to me carefully.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm good. Just happy to finally be going home. Is paparazzi outside?"

"A bit. I really don't know how they found out."

At that moment my mom and Logan come walking in, with the doctor behind them.

"You're good to go baby sis." Logan says.

They both come and say hello before helping me on the wheelchair.

"Everything seems to be great Ms. Henderson. just rest and take the medication and in a few weeks you shall be fine. Your foot should be healed in about 3 weeks so after that you will get the cast removed and have a bit of therapy."

"Thank you so much doctor."

"No problem, it's my job. now I don't hope to see you around here soon Ok?"

"I'll try my best" I say before he leaves the room

"Alright let's go home" my mom says.

My mom takes my bags and James says he'll push the wheelchair. Logan takes the crutches. Once we get close to the exit, Logan leaves to grab the car. I look out the doors and see camera lights flashing. Paparazzi.

"Are you ok honey? We can always try to find another exit or something."

"No that's fine mom." I reach into my bag and pull out my sunglasses. I see that there are also a few of security guards outside. We see Logan pull up so we head on out. Once we exit the hospital, camera light start flashing all around and questions are being asked. we get to the car and Logan comes out to help me get in the car, also with the help of James. They help me get on the passenger seat and then put the wheelchair in the trunk as well as the crutches. Once we're all set we drive off home.

At home, they help me settle into the guest room downstairs which will make it easier for me.

"Alright honey, I have to go to the store to get your medication filled and also to buy thing like food and such. I'll be home in a few hours."

She comes up to me and kisses my forehead before leaving.

"I also gotta leave baby sis. I have a meeting and also have this thing I promised Dayana I would do with her."

"What is it?"

"Do whatever she wants for the rest of the day. I kinda forgot about a date before your accident and well she got mad so this is what I have to do to make it up." He says making a face.

"Well good luck. Say hi to her for me."

"Thanks and I will" he kisses me on the forehead and then leaves also.

I look over at James and see him pull up a chair right next to the bed.

"Well I don't have anything to do so I'm going to be staying with you today."

"You don't have to do that James. I'm ok."

"I want to, and I just don't want to ever leave you out of my sight."

He takes my hand in his and lightly kisses it.

"I'm sorry" I say

He furrows his eyebrows together.

"What do you have to be sorry about? I'm the one who acted like a total dick."

"Yea, but I'm sorry I made you worried. Not just you but everyone also."

"It's not you're fault ok?" He caresses my cheek with his thumb.

"Yours neither."

He gives me a warm smile.

"Do you need anything babe?"

I'm kind of taken back with his question. not by what he's asking, but by calling me babe. my face must have shown confusion,

"What? Is there's something on my face?"

"No. it's just you called me babe so I don't know. It kind of took me by surprise."

"I just though-. Do you not want to....date me?"

"Of course I do!.....Do you?"

"More than anything in the world" he replies

"It's just we never really made it official or really talked about it so I didn't know where we stood."

"Sorry that was my fault. I really wanted to wait until I could plan something really nice for us and then officially ask you."

I then caress his hand softly,

"I don't care about all that you know?"

"Well in that case," he takes my hands in his and brings them closer to his chest, "Aylinn do you want to me by girlfriend?"

A big smile spreads in my face,

"I would love to."

I bring his face closer to mine and then kiss him on the lips. Our first official kiss as a couple. When we pull apart his eyes are sparkling more then ever and there's a big smile on his face.

"Will you lay with me?" I ask.

"Of course"

He gets up from the chair and goes around the bed to the other side. He gets under the covers and wraps an arm around me. I scoot closer and lay my head on his chest. I can hear the faint thump of his heartbeat and just as I'm about to fall asleep, I softly say,

"I love you James."

"I love you too Aylinn."

He responds, before we both fall into a blissful sleep.
