Could Things Be Changing?

(Back To Aylinn's Point Of View) 

As I'm barely walking into the door I hear Logan say

"So.. How was your Night with James?" Logan asks as soon as I walk in. "Did You use Protection because I dont want to be an uncle any time soon" I look over at him sending him an evil glare

"We didnt do anything, we just watched a movie but I kinda fell asleep early so yea and I dont find your joke very funny" 

He sticks his tongue out at me 

"ok, if you say so" 

"anyways i'm gonna go upstairs, shower and get ready because I'm going out"

He looks over at me and scrunches his eyebrows together

"Where?"

"I'm going out with the girls, Why do you wanna know?" I say making my way up the stairs to my room

"What?! Cant I just ask where?"

"Nope!" I yell from the top of the stairs.

After a quick shower I put on some jean shorts and a black tank top with some black vans. I only put on some eyeliner and mascara and leave my wavy brown hair down. I grab my sunglasses from the bag along with my bag and go downstairs. I go into the kitchen and see Logan making himself a sandwich

"Hey sis, want me to make you one?"

"Thank for offering but no thanks, I'm not very hungry I'll just grab an apple right now and then later I'll get something with the girls"

"Alright so I wanted to talk with you" 

 "About What?" I say before biting into the apple.

"Look I know that I joke around with you about James and stuff but I just wanted to you know how things are going, and I'm being serious right now"

He sits down across from me on the island and bites into his sandwich.

"Well it's still the same, we're still friends and he still sees me like.. well like a sister a guess. I think I should just give up. Obiously our feelings aren't mutual so whats the point in trying. It's obvious that he still loves Halston. even after what she did." 

He quickly looks away. By the look on his face I can tell there's something he doesn't want to tell me.

"What is it Logan?"

He looks back at me with a confused look on his face

"What do you mean?"

"Logan I Know you, what aren't you telling me?"

"Look. You Know I Love you and if I tell you this, I-I just don't want to see you sad."

"Just tell me! I can take whatever it is that you're not telling me" 

He lets out a sigh and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"when you and the girls left to get the smore's and stuff, and while we were building the campfire. James told Kendall that he still.....that he still had feelings for Halston."

I feel my heart break into a million pieces. I guess Logan could tell because he says

"See! That's why I didnt want to tell you. I knew you were going to get all sad. I hate seeing you like that. I know that James is my friend, and I Love him but you're my sister and..and a guy that makes you feel like this just isn't worth it. I dont get why you need to be so in love with him"

"You Just dont Understand"

"Understand What? That You're being an idiot loving a guy that still has feelings for his ex! Dammit grow up!" Once he realizes what he said his eyes go wide open and he slowly shakes his head

"Aylinn I-I didn't me-"

"I know that your just trying to protect me but I'm not a little girl anymore Logan! It's my problem if I want to get my heartbroken I Don't need you or anyone  telling me what I can do and what I can't! I Know I'm an idiot but wow, never thought i'd hear it from my brother"

"Ayli-"

I get up and storm to the front door Not giving him time to finish. I grab my keys on the way, I slam the door on my way out and get into my car. I drive off until I stop to the side of the road and just let all the tears come down.
