Movie Night

"Alright so what movie do you want to watch?" James asks as I come out of the bathroom and into his living room

"Hmm Do you have The Notebook?"

"yes.. But only because you left it here last time." 

I sit across from him on the couch and chuckle

"could we please watch that movie"

"Are you serious? Thats a chick flick"

"well yea but dont tell me you dont like it because may I remind you the first time we watched it you were crying your eyes out with me" I say raising my eyebrow

"Well....Yea but we've watched it so much times already that..."

I give him my best puppy dog eyes and add a little pout

"...You know I can never say no to that face. Fine! The Notebook it is" 

"YES! Thank You James"

he gets up and inserts the disc into the DVD player

"Yea, Yea Your lucky ur my best friend and that I love you"

once those last words come out of his mouth I feel my body freeze. Best Friend I know he doesnt mean the 'I love You'  the same way I do but it still does something to me. I give him a small smile.

"Guess I am" 

He comes back and sits next to me. I lean my head on his shoulder and suddenly i feel tierdness overcome me. The movie starts and i cant help but feel my eyelids slowly close and after a few minutes into the movie I fall asleep.

JAMES POV

30 min into the movie I look over to see Aylinn Sleeping. Aww she muct have been tired. She looks so peacefull sleeping, the longer I stare at her, the cuter she looks. No! I cant be thinking this. Shes my Best friend, She only sees me as a brother and Im only supposed to see her as a sister. 

I slowly get up, careful to not wake her up, and then slowly grab her and carry her into the guest room. I pull the blanket over her and kiss her forehead lightly

"Good Night Aylinn" i say then slowly exit the room.

 Once i'm laying in bed I cant help but think of Aylinn. Everytime Im around her I feel.....I cant even explain how I feel. They way her hair was flowing in the wind, and how bright her teeth are when she smiles. I dont even notice im smiling until I feel my cheecks starting to hurt. Could My Feelings be changing for her? I quickly shake that thought out of my mind and try to go to sleep. When I finally DO fall Asleep, I dream about Her.

THE NEXT MORNING (Still in JAMES POV) 

I wake up and look over to the clock. The red numbers read 9:25. I lay in bed, staring at the celing just thinking about my dream from last night. In it me and Aylinn are dating, walking on the beach, we are talking and then we stop, I stare into her chocalate brown eyes and she stares into mine. After a few sec we lean into each other and our lips touch causing me to feel sparks all over my body. After that I woke up.  I get up and check on Aylinn to see she is still asleep. I make my way to the kitchen and decide to make breakfast. A few minutes into cooking Aylinn walks in the kitchen I look over my shoulder and see her hair is kind of mess from sleeping, her clo.... well my clothes are all crimpled up but even like that I think she looks beautiful. When I realize what im thinking I quickly turn my had around and focus on the pancakes im making

"good Morning sleepy head" I say

"Good morning James, Smells good in here"

"yea I woke Up a while ago and decided to make breakfast. So guess you were really tired last night because you didnt even make it to the ending, what am I saying, halfway through even"

"I know, Im sorry i didnt even know I was tired until I layed on your shoulder, and suddenly I felt tired. Weird I Know, need any Help?"

"umm could you please just get out the stuff for the pancakes, Im almost finished."

"sure" 

I look over my shoulder and see her bent over grabbing the things from the refrigerator. 

James Stop! I quickly turn over and again try to focus on the pancakes. When Im done I take the plate over to the table and sit down across from Aylinn. We enjoy breakfast and when we finish she helps me clean up before she heads home to get ready. As she walks to her car I finally realize something. I think Im falling in love with my best friend!
