Love Has Barriers (James Maslow Story)

" ugh Today Is SO Hot" my Brother Logan Says from the living room. i grab my cold lemonade from the counter and walk over to the living room. 

"I know, I mean its cold in here but if you go outside it will be blazing hot." i sit on the couch and take a sip from my lemonade. "Logan, What are you watching" i say staring bankly at the tv

"hmmm... I don't know. Can I get some of your lemonade?" 

"yea.. sure, here" I say handing him the glass.

"What do you say we take a Beach trip."

"that would be nice, call the guys to see if the want to come."

"alright" he puts the glass up to his lips and gulps down all the lemonade and then hands me the empty glass

"hey! Who said you could finish it?"

"sorry sis," he says getting up from the couch and giving me a grin "better start calling the boys and you can invite Dayana if you want."

"yea, i was just about to text her to see if she wants to come."

I get my phone out of my pocket and text my best friend Dayana to see if she wants to come over

Aylinn: Hey!! We're gonna go to the beach with the guys, wanna come? :)

after a few minutes she replies

Dayana: Omg, Would Love Too :) I'll Be at your house in 30 min. See Ya! :D

I go to the kitchen and set the glass in the sink. I go up to my room and grab a beach bag, I put in my sunblock, an extra towel, hairties, a comb, my perfume, and i set my glasses ontop of the bag. I set my bun loose and decide to leave my hair in my natural hair. I decide on not wearing any make-up since it either way would end up smearing. then i grab my purple bikini from my drawar and take out my favorite sandals from my closet. Then i grab a pair of white shorts and a blue ruffly  tank top to wear over my bikini. I grab My Phone, bag and put My glasses over my head. I go downstairs and I see Logan Isn't down yet so i sit in the couch and get my phone out. I see that Carlos sent me a text it said

Carlos: Beach Day!!! Can't wait to see you later :) 

I smile and reply

Aylinn: I know :) see ya in a bit ;) 

I press send and see Logan coming down the stairs

"Hey your ready?" Logan asks 

"yea are the guys gonna come over and then leave from here?"

"yea they said they woulld be here in a few min. what about Dayana?" 

"alright and she said she would be here in 30 minutes and that was about 20 min ago so she'll be here in any min I guess" 

"oh, cool and they are going to bring the Jeeps so since James is driving one, Carlos the other and we will have to split."

"yea,who are you going to ride with?"

" oh, Me?? well Im gona ride with Kendall, Dayana is gonna ride with us Carlos and Alexa So you and James are gonna rifde together, Alone" he says making lovey dovey eyes when he says Alone. 

"Logan! Be quiet, You better not have told anyone other than the guys" i say with a serious face

"I didnt, Dont worry sis" he goes to the kitchen to get water.

Truth is that I am In love with James, but i can't afford to tell him because I'm afraid to ruin our friendship. We have known each other since... well since I started walking. Im 20 and hes 22 so hes only been 2 years older than me. Our parents meet at a party and that is how they became friends. When Logan and James got the opportunity to come over to L.A. and became famous, I was heart broken because my brother and Best friend who was also my Crush, were going to move Very Far Away. When I graduated I moved with Logan to L.A. so i could persue my Singing  Carreer, Just Like Logan. And well Iv'e been here in L.A. with them since then, I meet the Guys and we instantly clicked. They are like 2 more Brothers To me. Anyways back to what I was saying, I dont want James to Find out because if he doesnt feel the same way then everything will change. I guess only time will tell.
