Too Late

Well heres the next chapter guys! Probably by the title you can guess that in this chapter things aren't going to go too well for Aylinn

The closer I get to his house the more nervous I get. How do I control these nerves? After a bit, im parked outside his house. My hands are shaking, my stomach feels as if a million butterflies were flying in there. I get out of the car and slowly make my way to the door. Just as Im about to ring the doorbell, the door flies open. Out comes James dressed in dark blue jeans with a white tshirt and a black leather Jacket ontop.

"Oh. Aylinb what are you doing here? Not to be rude or anything"

"Hey, I wanted to umm talk with you. Are you going out?"

"Yea im gonna meet up with Halston at this restaurant. What did you want to talk about?"

I feel my heart shatter into a million pieces. Logan was right, I just shouldnt have come here.

"I ummm wanted to just talk with someone. Me and Logan had a huge discussion and we ended up fighting and well I-I uhh just needed to talk with someone."

Im trying so hard to hold my tears back. I have to look away from his eyes just so I dont break down right in front of him

"I can cancel let me jus-"

"No! its alright you go with Halston. It was just a bad idea for me to come in the first place."

I walk away before he can say anything, get into my car and drive home.

I burst inside my house with tears streaming down my face. I call out for Logan and I hear him somewhere in the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and he sees my tears

"Aylinn what ha-"

I run up to him and just hug him. He wraps his arms around me and i just let my tears fall onto his tshirt

"You were right Logan"

I try to say between sobs

"no I wasnt I was wrong I shouldnt be getting into your life, its your choice who you want to date."

"Your just trying to protect me. Im just so stubborn and hard headed that I dont listen"

"come," he walks me into the living room and sits me down with him on the couch "what happened? why were you crying when you came in?"

"I went with the girls after I left. I started telling them what happened and then they convinced me to go to James' house and tell him how I feel. Well I got there and he comes out dressed. I asked him where he was going and he said… he said he was going out with.......Halston"

tears are lightly falling down my face and Logan wraps me in his arms again while lightly rubbing my back.

"shhhh shhh its going to be ok. its going to be ok"

after a few min I pull away

"Im just going to go upstairs"

"but You Havnt eaten!"

"Its ok im not hungry either way"

I make my way to my room and lay under the covers. It may seem dumb but I start to cry again. It looks like my chance with James is never going to happen. Why is it that the guy I always like never likes me back. Without realizing it, I fall asleep.

When I wake up I check my phone and it looks like I was asleep for 3 hours. I check my bedside table and sitting there is a sandwich with a glass of orange juice with a note attached.

Didnt want you to die of hunger :)  So I made this for you. I expect to see it all gone by tonight . If you need someone to talk to im always here ok. I love You and remember, theres plenty of fish in the sea :) ❤

I smile before I hear my stomach growl. Looks like Now im hungry.

"Well Aylinn, first step in the heartbreak process, Forget about James" I say to myself before taking a bite out of my sandwich.

Heres the next Chapter! Hope you like it and again its kinda short but I dont want to keep you guys waiting so yea :) How I always say, I would love to hear what you think about the story and would also lime to kniw what you think is going to happen next.
