"She apologised" Jaemin said with a smile to his friend group, noticing how they had all become extremely silent when he sat down at the table.

"Okay good! I was really scared we'd have a fight" Mark said in relief

"She was really scary to be fair" Chenle said

"Yeah my heart stopped for a second" Mark said clutching onto his chest

"Of course not! Me and Jia are close, she wouldn't do that" Jaemin said shaking his head

"No...me and Jia are closer" Jeno said and Jaemin narrowed his eyes at him

"Her brother loves me"

"Her parents love me"

"I get her better presents"

"I buy her more food than you do-"

"Hey guys" Jia said, appearing and taking a seat at one of the free chairs beside Jaemin, making Jeno and Jaemin immediately stop bickering. She patted Jaemin's back lightly before taking her chopsticks and placing some of her chicken onto Jaemin's plate, deciding to give instead of take this time.

"See, I told you" Jaemin said with a smirk and Jeno rolled his eyes.

"What?" Jia asked in confusion and Jaemin shook his head and put on his lovey dovey act

"Nothing cutie, just eat. Eat a lot, our Jiayi is the cutest!" He said pinching her cheeks which she slapped his hand away for.

The murmurs grew louder in the canteen as Yuki stepped around the corner with Haechan by her side, eyes going straight to Jia who was surrounded by her friends group. Yuki's eyes watched Haechan walk towards their table.

Haechan placed his plate down on the space beside Jia, their first interaction since the argument since Jia didn't come out of her office.

"Can I sit here?" He asked, and Jia turned her head to him, ignoring the glare from Jeno.

"Yeah" She said quietly, scooching over a little to make space for him. Yuki cursed under her breath before finding her own group of friends.

"Don't you guys work in the same office? Why are you being so awkward" Chenle asked, monitoring the two closely as if he knew something

"Zhong CCTV, do you know something we don't?" Jeno asked and Chenle smirked

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't" Chenle responded smartly

"Don't you guys know? Jia kicked me out of the office today" Haechan said and Jaemin chuckled

"With no notice? Jia you're the worst landlord ever" he replied and the group chuckled

"They got into a fight because of his girlfriend" Jeno said with a slight glare and Haechan rolled his eyes

"She isn't my girlfriend" Haechan said, and Mark laughed

"Yeah right! She came up to me the other day and asked what the HR process was for signing the dating policy. Are you guys going official?" Mark asked, teasing him

"I'm being serious" Haechan said, noticing how tense Jia was now, digging into her rice with a tensed hand.

"Ah...I wasn't going to say anything but...I'm actually seeing someone" Haechan said, and Jia officially lost it. A piece of rice was sure to go down the wrong tube at that statement. She quickly recovered from her coughing fit, looking up at him with wide eyes.

"To be honest we were gonna keep it a secret so I didn't want to say anything" Haechan said, smiling down at her before looking at the boys and she immediately put her hand on his leg under the table to pinch his thigh.

"Ah! Ji—! Jieun...is her name!" Haechan exclaimed and Jia immediately retracted her hand from his leg.

"Ahn Jieun?" Jeno asked

"Uh..yeah sure" Haechan said, working off that name. Successfully teasing Jia to the max.

"So..? What's she like?" Chenle asked, interested in the new topic

"Well...she's really pretty and she seems kinda stand-off-ish at first but she's actually just a little dumpling of joy and her personality is really easy to get along with, you guys would love her actually Jia you'd probably get on with her the most...after me of course" Haechan said with a smile, but Jia knew he was biting back a smirk

"Oh really?" She asked, deadpanning him

"Oh Jia and Jieun, dude she might just be your long lost twin" Jaemin said with surprise

"Oh Jaemin, funny you said that. Actually Jia, Jieun looks kind of similar to you too" Haechan said raising his eyebrows and faking his surprise

"Well I wish you and Jieun a very long and happy relationship" She said fighting herself to not roll her eyes and Haechan smiled successfully. The group decided to clear up and head to the basement afterwards for a little game of halli galli before they started their shift again.

Jia pulled Haechan's arm slightly, slowly him down a bit so he could talk to her privately without the other boys finding out.

"Seriously? Jieun?" She whispered

"Why? Do you not like the name? I could've chosen a prettier name if you didn't pinch my leg" he said playfully, matching her walking pace and eventually stopping them a few stairs up.

"What are you doing? They're waiting for us" Jia said nervously

"Let them wait" Haechan smiled, grabbing her waist and pinning her against the wall. He crashed his lips down onto hers knowing he only had a few seconds to spare anyway.

"Come home with me in the morning, please?" He asked and she sighed

"I miss you" he said with a pout

"Its been like one day" she chuckled pushing him away

"Yeah, a long fucking day at that" Haechan corrected

"Fine fine! I'm all yours today" Jia said, skipping down the steps and he followed suit to see the guys already huddled in thick blankets in a circle

"What took you guys so long?" Chenle asked as the two sat down beside the group, option to share the only blanket that was left, having to move in closer due to its size.

"I was just telling her more about Lee Jieun" Haechan lied, reaching out to shuffle cards

"Lee Jieun? I thought you said Ahn Jieun?" Mark asked and Haechan froze for a second before letting out an awkward laugh

"Ah...I'm thinking way into the future. When we get married I hope she takes my last name" Haechan said, mentally vomiting at how down bad he was for his fake girlfriend

"He's delusional" Jeno laughed

"I never knew you had this side" Jaemin said and Haechan rolled his eyes. Looking at Jia and shooting her a little wink as they started playing the card game.
