How do other dragons react to Tiger's-eye's splotched scales?

Some considered them exotic and uniquely pretty, while others either simply didn't care or bullied him for their unusualness. Tiger's-eye had scales a dark tawny brown colour, which was already quite unusual for a sandwing, but what made it even weirder was that he was splotched with big, white blobs across his entire body and wings.

Short Story:

Tiger's-eye had always been different from the other SandWings. His scales were tawny brown, not the usual sandy yellow or pale gold. But what made him stand out even more were the big, white blobs that covered his body like paint splatters. He didn't know why he had them, or what they meant. He only knew that they made him a target for mockery and scorn.

Some dragons thought his scales were exotic and uniquely pretty, like rare gems or exotic flowers. They admired his courage and confidence, and praised his skills and talents. They saw him as a friend and ally, and respected his opinions and choices. They were the ones who gave him his name, Tiger's-eye, after a beautiful stone with brown and gold stripes.

But others didn't care about his scales, or anything else about him. They ignored him or avoided him, as if he didn't exist or didn't matter. They treated him like a stranger or an outsider, and never included him in their activities or conversations. They were the ones who made him feel lonely and invisible, and sometimes wished he could blend in with the sand.

And then there were the ones who bullied him for his scales, and for everything else they could find. They teased him and taunted him, calling him names like "Splotch" or "Freckle-face". They laughed at him and mocked him, making fun of his appearance or his actions. They pushed him and shoved him, tripping him or stealing his things. They were the ones who made him angry and hurt, and he sometimes wished he could fight back.

Tiger's-eye learned to cope with his different scales, and the different reactions they caused. He learned to appreciate the ones who liked him, and ignore the ones who didn't. He learned to stand up for himself, and not let the bullies get to him. He learned to be proud of who he was, and not let his scales define him.

He learned that he was more than just a SandWing with splotched scales.

He was Tiger's-eye, and he was unique.

Tiger's-eye's life changed when he met a dragon named Sunstone, a SkyWing with bright orange scales and amber eyes. Sunstone was a traveler, who had visited many lands and seen many wonders. He had a curious and adventurous spirit, and a kind and friendly heart. He was fascinated by Tiger's-eye's scales, and wanted to know more about him.

Sunstone asked Tiger's-eye many questions, such as where he came from, what he liked to do, and what his dreams were. He listened to Tiger's-eye's stories, and shared his own. He complimented Tiger's-eye's appearance, and admired his abilities. He invited Tiger's-eye to join him on his travels, and showed him the beauty and diversity of the world.

Tiger's-eye was amazed by Sunstone, and felt a connection with him. He enjoyed his company, and learned a lot from him. He felt happy and free, and wanted to see more of the world. He agreed to travel with Sunstone, and left his home behind.

Together, they visited many places, and met many dragons. They saw the rainforest of the RainWings, the frosty mountains of the IceWings, the sea of the SeaWings, the caves of the NightWings, the swamps of the MudWings, teh jungle of the Leafwings, and many others. They encountered different cultures, customs, and languages. They experienced different joys, challenges, and dangers.
