It was night time and I sat on my bed with my hair all tied up neatly in a high ponytail with a few strands poking out. I kept thinking about the situation this afternoon. What's up with the both of them? I understand that Jungkook is angry since he liked me. But Yoongi and Minhyuk?
"Ah I don't know!" I messed up my hair in frustration and lay down on my bed. Just then, my phone beeped. I rolled over and picked it up from the table.
Can you come down to the park near your house? Wait. It's not a question...Come down now!!! –Minhyuk
I laughed upon reading that. I grabbed my pullover, pulled it on and jogged out of my house.

He was sitting on the swing when I arrive. I sat down on the empty swing next to him and he got a shock.
"Did you go jogging or something? You look like a homeless person in those sweatpants." He pokes at my sweatpants with a disgusted face on.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Are you done mocking my beautiful sweatpants you shit head? Anyways, why did you call me down?"
His smile suddenly disappeared and he stares at the sandy floor beneath him.
"Ya, wagurae? Are you ok?" I placed my hand on his shoulder and he gently pushes it off. A silent followed and all that I could hear was the squeaking sound of the swing and rustling of the leaves.
"You know, after you left our class became so dead. Nobody was talking so loudly and jumping around like a monkey anymore," he pauses awhile and looks at the stars.
"And that day when I saw you on court with your hair all tied up and in your basketball jersey, everything became quiet to me. All I could hear was our breaths," he turns to me and heaved a sigh with a smile stuck onto his face.
I didn't like where this was going. Not a single bit. It felt all too familiar. It reminded me when Mom had this kind of conversation with me the night before she left for Canada. I was naïve and didn't get her point.
"You're leaving, aren't you?" I asked. He stops swinging.
"When?" I looked at him with my eyes widened.
"The day after tomorrow." He replied in a crooked voice.
"What? So soon? What about your basketball?"
"My dad has to follow his company. And I tried persuading them for me to stay. They didn't want to but they told me I have to leave it behind." I could feel the sadness in his voice. Even the brightest kind of people go through shit.
I stood up and kneeled down to meet his eyes before pulling him into a hug.
"Uri Minhyuk...my best friend. I'll miss you like crazy." I say hugging him tighter. His body tensed up and I felt his hands on my back.
"Eunbi, I'm gonna tell you something embarrassing but don't move ok?" I felt his chin on my shoulder and I turn slightly to see his ear next to my face.
"I..." He stops as if he was hesitant. There was a silence.
"I farted." He turns his head and smiled at me. Our faces were inches apart.
"Idiot." I flick his forehead and let go from his hug. He laughed as he stands up. I stood up and brush the sand off my knee.
"Come on, let's go." He puts his arms around my shoulder and looked down at me while smiling. I wrapped my arm around his waist and we walked.
I'm gonna miss this...so bad.
