Yoongi POV

"Break up?" I reply with a crooked voice. I could see the tears stinging in her eyes. I was fighting back mine.

"My mom...she returned."

"She did?"

"Yes. And she wants me to live with her at Incheon."

"What? That far?"

"And that's why I want a breakup Yoongi. I don't want a long distance relationship and I just got back my mom-It's too soon for me. I'm sorry..."

But I know she's not. The way she looks down on her laps and the way she curls up her fingers, it's a sign that she's lying. I've seen it too much myself.

"Tell me the truth, why do you want to break up? Ani...why do you want to leave?" I asked, a bit too harsh.

"I told you already! My mom-"

"Don't lie to me Eunbi! You freaking do every time!"

"What do you mean I lie to you every time?"

"Oh let's see." I point one finger up, "First, you lied to me when you said you didn't know Minhyuk." second finger, "Secondly, you lied to me every time I ask if you're feeling ok when you're not," third finger, "And now you're lying to me again about wanting to break up because of a distant relationship? Seriously?" I threw my hands in the air and stand up feeling so damn frustrated. Her face was flushed red and her lips were apart, in shock.

"I just thought you won't like the truth..." She mumbled under her breath.

"Then what do you think I'm your boyfriend for? To give you candies?"

"I don't want to be a burden..."

"Do you even hear yourself Eunbi?"

"It's hard for me too okay?!" She shouts as her cheeks flare up with frustration.

I scoffed and shake my head in utter disappointment. "You kissed me," I choked down the lump in my throat, finding it so painful to even talk, "And straight away you said you want a breakup. If you were me, do you think it's hard?"

"Yoongi I-"

"Stop. Talk to me when you're back to reality." And with that I left her sitting alone at the bench of the amusement park.

I wanted to turn behind to swoop her into my arms and apologize for being so harsh. But I need her to calm down her thoughts. I'll wait. I'll wait for her to realize her mistake and we can both laugh it off. But I waited too long. And little did I know, days turned into weeks,

And she's gone.

Today

"Guys!" I turn my head towards the door way and see Namjoon walking in. The boys were all warming up by doing stretches. Today is the day, our finals. We're against one of the top players in street basketball and I'm more than thrilled to kick their ass.

Namjoon stands in the middle of the room and we crowd around him.

"5 minutes till 8pm. This is it! We've finally made it here. After tough times-" he pauses awkwardly.

"After tough times we made it didn't we?" Jhope breaks the little silence with his bright  tone.

"We did." Jungkook mutters. I can tell that they're still not over the fact Eunbi left without a word. Jungkook got it the hardest.

"Kaja, let's kick some ass." I say, putting my hand in the middle of the circle. The rest follows and I swear I almost imagine Eunbi shoving her hand in with a bright smile. I push that thought out of my mind.

"1,2,3...Bangtan!"

~

We stood under the shade, where the crowd still can't see us, waiting for the opposing team's introduction to be done. Jungkook appears from the back and squeezes my shoulders excitedly.

"I'm so pumped!" He begins bouncing up and down like a little kid while gritting his teeth.

"You better play well or I'll kill you," I use my finger and hold it against his neck like a knife. He laughs and turns his head towards the court.

"They're so many people tonight," he scratches his head and smiles awkwardly, "I wonder if noona will come watch us."

"Ya, is she really important right now?" I roll my eyes at him and his smile fades into a smirk.

"You always play well around her."

"Shut up."

Jungkook was about to speak until the MC interrupted us, calling our name. We enter the court and the crowd broke out into a loud cheer. My eyes were glued ahead on the opponents in front of me. They were tall and buff with eyes like fire, as keen as us to win this thing. We were given 5 minutes to group up in our circles for the last time. Everyone chip in words of encouragements to each other and after doing our cheer, we disperse. All of a sudden, Jungkook jogs up to me and whispers in my ear,

"Speak of the devil," he winks before running off. What?

I was about to walk up to Jungkook until  a familiar voice travels through the crowd.

"Ya ahjussi!!"

I frantically turn my head to find the voice, shifting the heels of my feet. And that's when I saw her,

The devil really came. How sneaky.
