First Kiss (Dahyun)

"Thanks for coming over and being so understanding about the last minute change of plans," Dahyun said as she let you into her apartment.

You had known Dahyun for a while now though you had only began seeing her romantically very recently. Your second date was supposed to be tonight at a new restaurant but right as you were finishing work, you got a message from Dahyun asking if the dinner could be rescheduled for another time. After encouraging her to open up, it turned out she was having an awful day and the idea of going on a fancy date just seemed too overwhelming for her right now. You understood how she felt and suggested that if she needed some company that you two could watch a movie in your sweats and take things easy. With a movie on, she could distract herself from her tough day and while you would be spending time together, she wouldn't necessarily have to keep a conversation going. She was more than happy to do this because, despite her bad day, she still wanted to see you.

"Anytime, darling, I'm really sorry that you had a crappy day," you replied as she stood aside to let you in.

Her cheeks flushed and she stared down at the floor when you called her that.

"It's getting better now you're here," she mumbled as she took your hand to lead you into the living area.

Now it was your time to blush. Because you had only been on one date together, you still weren't used to her being physically affectionate with you so just by grabbing your hand, she had turned you into a flustered mess.

You both sat down on the sofa when you remembered you were carrying a bag in your other hand.

"I brought some things, by the way," you said shyly, opening the bag and pulling out the contents. "I thought they would cheer you up."

On your way over, you were able to make a couple of quick stops. You got takeout from a place you knew she loved as well as some chocolates and a plushie you picked up from a store.

Dahyun's jaw dropped when she saw all this. It was a simple gesture on your part but it was a thoughtful one and it made her heart melt. Knowing that you genuinely cared about cheering her up and making her feel better after a bad day made her feel validated and accepted.

It took her a few seconds to process this and when she tried to make eye contact with you, you were looking down, fiddling with the sleeve of your sweatshirt.

"Thank you so much," Dahyun whispered. "You've honestly made my day, you have no idea."

"It was just something small," you shrugged. "I didn't have much time and -"

But your words were interrupted when Dahyun reached her hand out to tilt your head towards hers and pulled you in for a passionate kiss. She couldn't stop herself in that moment as she was overwhelmed with emotions. You kissed her back immediately and your lips moved perfectly against hers as if they were created just for this. Your hands found their way to her cheeks and your thumbs caressed her flawless cheekbones as her hands wrapped around your neck.

After a moment, you pulled away, needing to catch your breath. Your eyes locked with Dahyun's and she moved her hands to your shoulders as a smile lit up her face.

"That was, wow," you said quietly. "I don't have words."

"Yeah," she said, trying to catch her breath. "I forgot to say it earlier, by the way, but you look beautiful tonight."

"I'm just in sweats and I've taken my makeup off," you giggled at her.

"I know," Dahyun shrugged. "You look gorgeous."

You rolled your eyes at her and leaned back in, hoping to steal some more kisses.

"Can I?" You asked, inches away from her lips and she nodded quickly, closing the gap between you two as fast as possible.

You weren't sure if you'd actually end up watching movies tonight.
