Carina is being called in to her clinic to help with a heavily pregnant woman who's now 39 weeks pregnant and has been experiencing severe contractions... Carina sped up to her clinic she was there with four minutes tops **

Carina: hi , good morning, Rebecca smith ?
Rebecca : hi Carina , yes please help me... the pain is horrible!
Carina: I will give you a cervical exam and see how you're doing okay? I'd your partner going to be joining you for the delivery?
Rebecca : uh yes he's parking the van... his name is Tyler Smith...
** A few minutes later a very frantic Tyler runs into Carina's clinic and he's asking everyone if they know where his wife Rebecca is **
Tyler : Has anyone seen my wife? Rebecca? Babe where are you?
Rebecca : you better get him in here before he disturbs everyone else...
**Carina slightly chuckled and let him in the exam room and he immediately calmed down when he got in the room with his wife **
Carina: Tyler, she's with me in here. You can come in....
Tyler : alright, sorry for the disruption, I'm just really —— thank you. Is she in labour?
Rebecca : this is our first baby so we're very much on edge yet very excited... ouhhhhh ahhhhh another contraction ....
Carina: okay they are coming every five minutes... breathe Rebecca breathe....
Rebecca: I need to push ! It hurts so bad

Carina: alright, push if you need to...
Okay... she's crowning... I can see the top of her head... push really hard... right into your bottom.... Chin to your chest... hold it for ten seconds!
Rebecca : alright.... Hrmmmmmmmm AHHHHHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW !
Tyler : you're doing a wonderful job baby ! A little bit more....
** he supported her head and held her hands **
Carina: okay, excellent... her head is all the way out now , relax in between your contractions.... You're doing a phenomenal job for your first time....
Rebecca : thank you.... You've been so supportive and kind... not every doctor is as kind and supportive as you are Doctor Deluca ...
Carina : Awnnn well thank you for sharing this with me , it should always be like this .... We are trained to deliver babies YES , but also listen to our patients... and try to give them a positive birthing experience... and to respect them...
I really make sure that all of my nurses working with and for me in my clinic that they do exactly that.... Otherwise I don't see how they can do this job ....
Tyler : you're absolutely right...
Rebecca : okay , hrmmmmmmmm owwwwwwwwwwww !
Carina : good job ! She's finally here....

**Rebecca successfully delivered a perfect healthy little princess. That they decided to name Aria !
She's a good seven pound nine ounce and seventeen inches long! **
Carina: time of birth is three seventeen am ! Congratulations to you both, she's absolutely gorgeous and perfect!
Rebecca : owwww , her placenta Is coming owwwwwwwwww ! It hurts so much....
Carina: okay, let it out. One little push... that's it, good job! Everything is wonderful...
** Carina removed everything that was left from the placenta at 3h20 am and she left the newest parents bond with baby Aria !**
Tyler : I'm so impressed with how strong you handled this whole labour!
** He kissed her several times and she was extremely happy as well **
