❝ you all have convinced yourselves that this was necessary—this anger. ❞

ENOLA CREATED SO MUCH UNNECESSARY PAIN FOR HERSELF. She felt like a failure if no one loved her. She only existed if there was someone who saw her. Her life only has worth if she is living for someone else. That restlessness she felt? It is her soul crying out to be set free from all of the deceit she has been forced to believe.
Enola was just now learning to stop. To stop throwing herself pity parties every time something doesn't go her way. To stop thinking that she is alone when something horrible inevitably happens. She is surrounded by people who love her unconditionally. Like Elijah. Who was currently missing. She swore that she would do everything in her power to find him. But none were more determined to find him than his evil brother who would do whatever it took.
"I see your interrogation went well," Enola hummed.
Klaus glanced at Enola through the bathroom mirror. She leaned on the doorframe behind him. She appeared to be unphased by the amount of blood that covered him. She watched as he rinsed his hands in the sink. She couldn't help but think about how handsome he looked. Even if he was covered in blood. As messed up as it sounded, she thought the blood made him look almost ethereal. She had come to the conclusion that something must have been very wrong with her.
"It turns out these witches are delicate creatures," Klaus hummed, turning off the sink. "No matter. As suspected, my mother has Elijah captive."
"Great. Let's go find him." Enola nodded.
"Esther is too powerful. She won't easily be found." Klaus explained, moving across the room. "I need to draw her out."
"What are you doing?" Enola frowned.
"I need to shower," Klaus answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. He turned the shower on before he began to strip out of his clothes. "Care to join me?"
"Elijah is missing," Enola reminded. "I hardly think now is the best time for steamy shower sex."
"Nonsense," Klaus grinned. "Now is the perfect time—now there will be no interruptions."
"You are actually a horrible person," Enola stated.
"I know," Klaus smirked, moving over to the shower.
Enola watched as Klaus disappeared behind the shower door. She could still see his blurry figure rinsing off behind the thick glass. She sighed as she began to strip out of her clothes before joining her darling fiancé under the scalding hot water. She grabbed the wet rag out of his hand before adding a good amount of body wash. He smiled as she began to thoroughly scrub the blood off of his body.
