Wings

We're given a set of wings

And once we learn to fly

We soar into the sky

To see much greater things

It's hard for us on Earth,

As we can't yet fly

It feels like it's the end,

It feels like it's goodbye

But our journey isn't over

So please do not be sad

Our journey has just begun

And one day you will be glad

We will meet them up in the sky,

We'll be happy there

No one will cry

A smile we all will wear

True, we will have to wait a while

But you can be sure today

They'd want you to smile

And be happy anyway

Be calm and cool, but don't hide your pain

I know it hurts, It can drive you insane

But don't hide your fears,

We are still here to dry your tears.

I've felt your pain,

I wanted to yelp

I was far to scared

To bravely ask for help

I know just how dark it can get,

Trust me bad things I have met

There is fear that lies deep inside

That you feel, you need to hide

It will be okay,

Just not tonight,

I promise you will someday see a very bright light
